Rachel's Kids is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in need. The founder of Rachel’s Kids is Dr. Rachel Navaneelan, a local dentist in Cornwall. In addition to its own programs, Rachel’s Kids partners with local organizations including the United Way of SD&G, the Big Brothers and Big Sisters, The Boys and Girls Clubs, the Children’s Treatment Center as well as many others. Rachel’s Kids is mid-way through its complete renovation of the Cornwall Community Hospital Pediatric Ward. This multi-phase project is being funded and managed by the Rachel’s Kids Board directly, ensuring all monies are used for the renovation not administrative and overhead costs. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2014, Rachel's Kids is proud to operate with an all volunteer board of directors and raises its funds through the local community of Cornwall, SD&G and Akwesasne as well as Ottawa.

Inner-City Scholarship Fund changes lives for the better by providing families with demonstrable financial needs the opportunity to give their children a quality, values-based K-12 Catholic education within the Archdiocese of New York. Inner-City exists to ensure that the gift of an excellent Catholic school education continues to be a viable option for students of all faiths today and for future generations to come.

In support of Common Cause’s mission of promoting open, honest, and accountable government, the Common Cause Education Fund seeks, through research, public education and innovative programs, to: increase public understanding of the democratic process and, where appropriate, the need for change; empower citizens and promote their effective participation in all aspects of the democratic process at the local, state and federal level; and empower citizens to hold their government accountable.

The Peter J. Herchenbach Memorial Scholarship Fund is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that helps high school students that are fighting cancer or other life threatening diseases. We offer $5,000 college scholarships that support anyone whose high school experience is being overshadowed by their disease. We want to help these gallantly fighting young adults by investing in their college education.

The Fund for Educational Excellence is an independent nonprofit organization working to close the equity and opportunity gaps for all students in Baltimore City Public Schools. We believe that a strong public school system is the foundation for the health and success of Baltimore. We expand resources, identify and accelerate solutions, and recognize excellence so that all children in Baltimore City Public Schools experience an effective and equitable education.

Founded in 2004 by award winning author and journalist Nelofer Pazira and run entirely by volunteers DAWF sponsors basic education and skills-training classes for women who were denied the opportunity for education during years of conflict. In 2006, DAWF began funding a basic literacy program for women in a remote village in Bamiyan. 22 women, ages 18-40 enrolled in that class. The program consists of 5 levels, each 6 months in duration, and meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education. At the completion of all five levels the women will receive a diploma from the ministry that will allow them to continue their education and help them find employment. The women have currently completed their third level, and are actively sharing the skills they have learned. The cost of six months of classes is approximately $150 per student. Funds raised provide teacher salaries and locally bought books and supplies. DAWF is a Canadian Registered Charity

The Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) is dedicated to improving the lives of Armenians and preparing them for the 21st century. It cares for the most vulnerable populations by providing basic needs, like food, shelter and healthcare, and brings hope and opportunity through its programs, such as educational scholarships, vocational training and research grants. FAR empowers and engages the people, thereby strengthening Armenia and Karabagh. A prosperous Homeland will be a source of pride and inspiration for future generations of Armenians worldwide.

Anush Harutyunova Memorial Fund has been established in loving memory of Anush Harutyunova, who loved and appreciated all form of arts, but dance was her first and foremost passion. It was her joy and her greatest motivation. Our mission to stimulate art education in community and inspire young talented students in achieving their goals. We believe that dance is unique for synergy of choreography, music and theater. It encourages creative thinking skill, value of disciple, commitment and work ethic.
