Teach For America exists to address the problem of the opportunity gap; our mission is to build the movement to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting our nation's most promising future leaders in the effort. In the immediate term, we serve as a critical source of talented and committed teachers, called corps members, who compensate for the additional challenges their students face to provide them with the educational opportunities they deserve. Our corps members' positive impact on students' academic achievement provides tangible evidence that it is possible for all students to succeed when they get the right support. At the same time, helping their students succeed intensifies corps members' sense of urgency and gives them a deep grounding in what it will take to ensure that all students in our nation have the opportunity to attain an excellent education. Over the long run, we produce an alumni force with the talent, conviction, insight, and experience to effect the fundamental changes necessary to realize our vision of educational opportunity for all. Our alumni work directly for change at every level of our education system, while also exerting pressure for positive change from outside the system:* continuing to serve as teachers, school principals, and district administrators* taking the pressure off schools by working to remediate the challenges of poverty by working in careers supporting economic development, public health, social services, and law* pioneering innovations in public service as social entrepreneurs* shaping our priorities and policies as advocates, policy advisers, elected officials, and influencers in other sectors.

Our mission is to improve the experience, outcomes, and survival of teens and young adults with cancer by providing facilities and programs designed especially for them in hospitals throughout the USA.

The Miss America Foundation strives to change lives and influence young women across the country and around the world. We proudly offer academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as endowed scholarships for those young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness, STEM, and in the performing arts. The Miss America Foundation, Inc. is a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation that provides academic scholarships to young women. MAF is duly recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. America SCORES Los Angeles inspires urban youth to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world. America SCORES partners with urban schools to provide a high quality, team-based program that integrates soccer, poetry, and service- learning. Our innovative approach improves students' health, academic achievement, and civic engagement.

Cambridge In America promotes interest in and support for the University of Cambridge and its constituent Colleges among alumni and friends in the United States.

America Needs You fights for economic mobility for ambitious, first-generation college students. We do this by providing transformative mentorship and intensive career development.

America On Tech (AOT) is a national nonprofit committed to decreasing the racial wealth gap in underestimated communities by creating pathways for students of color into degrees and careers in technology. AOT provides high-quality no-cost tech education, skills development, and workforce readiness starting with high school youth in NYC, LA, and Miami in areas such as Web Development, UX Design, Product Management, Digital Marketing, Data Science and Cyber Security. AOT has served 4,500+ students across the country (87% Black/Latinx and 57% women) with 85% of the students in tech jobs or majoring in computer science in college.

The mission of AAI is to build hope and empower communities afflicted by armed conflict and severe poverty. We believe that peace, security and respect for human dignity are inseparable. Our goal is to develop programs as sustainable models that can be replicated globally. Our people-to-people initiatives integrate health, education, arts and livelihood as a basis for mediation. By building Hope, we overcome the hatred propagated by terror organizations. The success of these cost-effective models shows that empowering impoverished and conflict-plagued communities strengthens international security, stability and peace.

Monica Place Waterloo offers a Residential Program for pregnant young women and for new moms and their babies who are in need of safe and supportive housing. Twenty-four hour support is available along with individual counselling and group programs. Parent education and life skills classes are offered to all residents. Monica Place Waterloo offers a Community Program in partnership with the Waterloo Region District School Board. This program encourages young women who are pregnant or parenting to complete secondary school credits in a safe and supportive environment. Free nursery services are provided for students. Monica Place Cambridge is a subsidized housing complex program for young women and their children seeking transitional housing and support. The complex has fifteen, two-bedroom apartment units. Individual counselling and group programs are offered as well as parenting and life skills classes.
