THE MISSION OF FOOD FOR THE SOUL IS TO SERVE AS A CHRIST-LIKE MINISTRY TO MEET THE BASIC NEEDS OF THE HUNGRY AND HOMELESS IN KERSHAW COUNTY.

Our purpose is to financially improve the lives of hundreds of children and their community in Kapsabet, Kenya. Founded in 2003, a library and kitchen have been built along with classrooms and a well. We have no paid staff and two fundraising parties are held each year in Colorado.

Gyrls in the H.O.O.D. Foundation mission is to improve reproductive health outcomes amongst adolescent females residing in urban areas considered "hood" through education, empowerment, and events.

The YEAH Foundation is committed to empowering marginalized youth 12-31 years of age in Durham Region through programs the encourage them to become successful and engaged in their communities.

The Kenora and Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation is an independent, volunteer driven, charitable organization that builds and manages endowment funds to support local charities and community priorities. Donations to endowment funds are pooled together and invested. The income from these investments is then used to as grants to support local registered charities, while the capital remains untouched. Our Community Foundation aims to strengthen the communities in which we serve(Kenora, Keewatin, Reddit, Minaki, Sioux Narrows, Nestor Falls, the First Nations Territories and the unincorporated areas surrounding Lake of the Woods)by continuously striving towards three key objectives: - Endowment Building and personalized donor services - Broad and effective grant making - Community Leadership Our Community Foundation is creating a lasting legacy for our region. The permanent endowments we are building will stay in our community forever.

Established in 1945, the CFP's mandate is the advancement of the profession of pharmacy. Since 2004, funds raised by the Foundation have supported innovative projects and research that will optimize the expertise of pharmacy in the area of medication management. This will in turn enhance the contribution pharmacists make to the healthcare system in Canada.

APR's mission is to empower urban students of all racial and ethnic backgrounds to achieve their full intellectual and social potential by combining the best of the East - high standards, discipline and character education with the best of the West - a commitment to individualism, creativity and diversity.
