Premiere Urgence Internationale envisions a world where crisis-affected people have the means to meet their vital needs and shape their own future. We see access to healthcare, food, water, education, protection and safe housing as fundamental human rights and essential to all aspects of community well-being. With 40 years of experience in the humanitarian and development aid sector, Premiere Urgence Internationale is an independent French NGO, operating in 25 countries worldwide. Recognized by our peers and partners as "the last mile NGO", we intervene in crisis settings, particularly in the hardest-to-reach areas, to support populations affected by the effects of natural disasters, war, epidemics or economic collapse. In 2023, we assisted 5 million children, women, and men across four continents, making our NGO a key humanitarian player: -Because our 3,000 field staff understand the complexity of situations and local cultures, -Because we work hand in hand with local, national, and regional authorities and actors, as well as with communities, from the needs assessment stage, -Because our deep, holistic and agile expertise draws on complementary areas of competence - health, food security, nutrition, infrastructure rehabilitation and construction, water access, hygiene and sanitation, economic recovery and access to livelihoods, education and protection - we are able to respond: 1)in emergencies, to treat and manage physical, mental, or material trauma, 2) and beyond the emergency phase, to address the longer-term effects of crises, prevent recurrence risks and restore the ability of vulnerable populations to act on the path to resilience and development.

We are a national, First Nation-directed environmental non-profit organization with charitable status. We were established in 1994 by a group of First Nation leaders from across Canada. These leaders recognized the need for First Nations to have the capacity to solve environmental problems affecting their lands and resources. Through our programs, we: ~ take action on climate change, ~ build sustainable communities, ~ protect lands and waters, and ~ conserve biodiversity. We create and put into action sustainable solutions to address First Nations' environmental issues. We take an integrated approach that includes multiple perspectives and fosters collaborative relationships. We would welcome the opportunity to talk with you about what we do.

We have been serving mothers, children and youth since the 1920's. At Scugog, people from marginalized families who might not otherwise have an opportunity can enjoy summer camp. At Lake Scugog Camp we all have the opportunity to learn about nature, God's presence in our lives, as well as supporting and sharing in each others lives. We offer this in a warm, caring community that supports growth, stability and the strengthening of family life. Our programs offer a variety of land/water activities, chapel, campfires, special days and more. Our Leadership Program supports youth in becoming valuable camp staff, strong leaders and effective employable members of their own community.

The Oldman Watershed Council, or OWC, is a community-based, not-for-profit that works with everyone to find practical solutions to environmental challenges that impact us all. People depend on a healthy environment but we also need a healthy economy and we have social and cultural needs too. Everything is connected so we must work together to make trade-offs, solve problems, plan for the future and have the quality of life we want right now. It takes time and effort to work collaboratively but OWC is building a new way of managing our water and land where we all do our part, work together and think long term. We believe it's worth the investment.

The German Red Cross co-operates with other national Red Cross/ Red Crescent societies, the International Federation of Red Cross/ Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross in numerous missions concerning: - Emergency Response (including quick assignment of pre-trained personnel and pre-packaged material, provision of relief materials, donations and contributions in cash and in kind to partner organizations) - Rehabilitation after disasters (Reconstruction of houses, medical facilities, and livelihood after disasters) - Development projects with focus on Disaster Risk Reduction / Climate Change Adaptation, Water and Sanitation, Basic Health Care, Livelihood and Capacity Building within Partner Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies and communities.

Our mission is to promote sustainable village development in partnership with Cambodian people by helping to provide clean water, sanitation, educational opportunities, health care from birth onwards, improved nutrition, and economic empowerment. We work to increase awareness of environmental and social responsibility within families and communities by helping provide the necessary tools for villagers to improve their quality of life; feel pride and reach their highest potential. From Books to Brilliance provides access to books and educational materials in impoverished communities. Countless children in our world grow up with no books. In Nicaragua and Guatemala, many of the rural poor live on less than one dollar a day. Without access to basic services such as potable water and sanitation, families struggle just to survive each day. Books are rarely found. At the local schools, teachers plan lessons and instruct with no textbooks. Children fortunate enough to attend school learn to read from words written on the blackboard, but without books cannot read to learn. Few children reach their intellectual potential. We believe that in creating access to books and information, a better future becomes possible for citizens living in abject poverty.

Since 1993, ACCES has been working with Kenyan partners to provide educational opportunities in the Kakamega Region of Western Province. We have provided post-secondary scholarships for over 1,300 Kenyans to study in Kenyan universities and colleges. We operate 8 primary schools serving over 1,300 pupils. We also support an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign that has reached more than 20,000 people, small business training and loans, organic agricultural training, adult education, community health services, water wells, and secondary school education. ACCES guarantees that 100% of donations dedicated to programs will be used on those programs - our modest administration costs are covered through special board initiatives.

SOS depends on community volunteers and community contributions to help protect, preserve and enhance the Seine River Environment through education, awareness and hands-on participation. Your contribution assists SOS in enabling all citizens to reconnect with their local environment. The Goals of Save Our Seine: 1. Preserve, protect and enhance the natural environment & heritage resource of the Seine River. 2. Restore & repair features of the environment that have been degraded. 3. Improve water level, flow & quality 4. Raise the public's awareness of all aspects of the Seine River 5. Improve the environmental behavior of private industry, governments and the general public 6. Improve appropriate public access along the Seine River (by low-impact nature trail & by canoe)

The Society members are working hard to create a new Arts & Culture complex at the lake which has become a destination for visitors and locals alike. Phase one includes a visitors welcome centre, artisans gallery, interpretive centre for the nature park, and some office/meeting and performance space. A Solar Aquatics System for processing waste water provides an unique facility to educate the public about biological treatment of waste, using natural systems. In the second phase there will be creative spaces for glass blowing, wood working, pottery, and other facilities which require special equipment for artisans to create their original pieces, plus educational spaces with resident and/or guest artists and craftspeople teaching classes. An outside amphitheater for performances will complete this phase

SANASH WELFARE FOUNDATION is an organization; which is neutral, independent Charitable Organization ; its goal is to "ensure the ability of the Earth to nurture life in all its diversity" and focuses its campaigning on issues without any limits to political affiliations, race, gender, religion or ethnicity; such as deprived Humanity & their sufferings from basic needs, protection of eco-system, adverse environmental effects, poverty, adverse inflation, emergency crises etc. It uses direct action, capacity building, advocacy and research to achieve its goals.
