The Jones Library will be a community hub to a diverse population of Amherst residents, where books are celebrated and all members of the community can enhance their educational, cultural, and lifelong learning pursuits.

Our mission is to connect the rich literary traditions and resources of Greater Boston, building relationships among its artists and authors, by empowering, enabling, and amplifying the voices of unheard and underserved populations through free collaborative workshops, public readings, literary journals, video publications, and public exhibits that showcase their work and encourage personal reflection and re-vision, by both author and audience, while sharing their stories with the world. Our workshops are intended to expand access to literary arts for everyone, including those marginalized, stigmatized, or isolated by the challenges of addiction recovery, disability, trauma, sickness, injury, poverty, and mental illness.

Our mission is to Identify, Connect, and Empower women veterans through social, professional and personal connections. We do this by utilizing electronic and live networking across communities, across the United States and internationally. Technology and collaboration have been tools to firmly anchor and connect an otherwise invisible nation of women who have served with those who are serving and those who are preparing to serve in the military.

The mission of Strange Fruit is a beautiful and transformative initiative. By connecting African American artists with our community in such a direct, meaningful way, we are not only elevating the visibility of Black creativity but also fostering a space for connection, education, and economic empowerment.

Sahkal have the mission to contribute to improving the living conditions of populations through sustainable development and resilience. We are committed to saving lives and preserving the dignity of every vulnerable human being and specifically women, girls, people with disabilities and children affected by crises and disasters.
