The Laundromat Project brings art, artists, and arts programming into laundromats and other everyday spaces, thus amplifying the creativity that already exists within communities to build community networks, solve problems, and enhance our sense of ownership in the places where we live, work, and grow.

The Institute's mission is to foster values-based leadership encouraging individuals to reflect on the ideals and ideas that define a good society and to provide a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues. The Institute does this in four ways seminars, which help participants reflect on what they think makes a good society and enhancing their capacity to solve problems leaders face. 

Baylor School was established in 1893 as a college preparatory school for the young men of Chattanooga. Today, Baylor enrolls students in grades 6-12. Our boarding program draws students from around the country and the world, who are attracted to the school by a strong academic program, diverse extracurricular activities, and a nurturing residential atmosphere. Baylor's mission is to foster in its students both the ability and the desire to make a positive difference in the world. Baylor fulfills its mission by providing: a rich academic program; a school rooted in tradition yet receptive to change; a wide variety of co-curricular experiences; a diverse academy having at its heart a vibrant resident community of faculty and students from around the world; and a balance of emphases on activities of the mind, body, and spirit.

The Longhorn Project at Johnson Space Center is an innovative educational partnership among The Longhorn Project, a 501(c) (3) charitable nonprofit organization, NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC), the Houston Livestock Show and RodeoTM, area school districts, and the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America. The LHP’s purposes are twofold: 1) To provide students with a unique educational experiences that combines an agricultural and STEM curriculum with leadership and personal growth opportunities in a hands-on, working environment; and 2) To promote the preservation and legacy of the Texas registered Longhorn, the cattle native to the state of Texas.

Rocking the Boat empowers young people challenged by severe economic, educational, and social conditions to develop the self-confidence to set ambitious goals and gain the skills necessary to achieve them.  Students work together to build wooden boats, learn to row and sail, and restore local urban waterways, revitalizing their community while creating better lives for themselves. Kids don’t just build boats at Rocking the Boat, boats build kids.

The Downtown School promotes exceptional academic achievement, intellectual flexibility, deep learning, creativity, and whole-child growth through an authentic, experience-based curriculum that creates a landscape for learning out of the world around us.

She’s the First fights for a world where every girl chooses her own future. We team up with local organizations to make sure girls are educated, respected, and heard.

The Riekes Center, founded in 1996, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the Fair Oaks neighborhood of Menlo Park. We serve 7,000+ students a year from East Palo Alto, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Redwood City, as well as across the Bay Area and around the world. Our mission is to provide community members of all ages with the best possible opportunity to define and accomplish their individual goals, build character, and learn transferable life skills while participating in our Athletic Fitness, Creative Arts, Nature Awareness, and Community Service programs. We provide these opportunities regardless of a person's ability to pay or perform.

The Opportunity Network is an intensive, six-year program designed to equal the playing field for high-achieving, underserved high school and college students by creating access for them to career opportunities, professional networks and competitive colleges. The Opportunity Network believes influential networks are essential ingredients for success not emphasized in career development programs for youth, so we take an innovative approach by underscoring the power of personal connections and professional relationships as vital complements to skills and experience. Through interaction with executives, intensive networking training, coursework in careers, internships and college counseling, our students dramatically change the course of their futures.
