Founded in 1987, Pacific Salmon Foundation is an independent, politically neutral organization dedicated to rebuilding healthy sustainable and naturally divers Pacific salmon stocks. We believe that action is more important than words; that collaboration and partnerships are more effective than finger pointing and blame.

The Lea Roback Foundation awards each year scholarships to women of all ages who are in financial difficulty and yet socially committed, so they can realize their plans to go to school. Because it doesn’t have an office or staff, all donations go directly to those in need.

The Foundation provides stable, sustainable support to charitable organizations on the Sunshine Coast. We create a way for individuals, families, corporations, businesses and groups to pool charitable giving into a single Community Capital Fund that will respond to the needs and concerns of the area’s residents from Port Mellon to Egmont.

Turtle Wing Foundation helps individuals (especially children) with learning differences in rural communities access the services and supports they need. It connects families to educational, therapeutic, and emotional resources, provides financial assistance for sessions and programs, and partners with local providers to expand access in underserved counties.

Adara Empowerment Foundation focuses on empowering women to actively contribute to the social-economic development of Africa by providing education and training support for women and youth; and supporting, promoting and documenting African arts and culture. Investing in the economic empowerment of women is the core pillar of our work and we aim to reduce women's vulnerabilities while boosting their skills and ability to participate in key economic sectors in Africa, including fashion, technology, energy, agriculture, and arts and culture. Since 2017 the Foundation has reached more than 14,000 beneficiaries through a combination of skills training, education promotion, health access and education, financial education, humanitarian relief initiatives and market access opportunities.

The Cabrillo College Foundation's mission is to operate for the advancement of education; to solicit and raise money for scholarships, facilities, equipment, research and education projects; to improve faculty teaching and competence, to provide departmental support, and to otherwise provide aid supplementary to public tax dollars for the support and benefit of Cabrillo College.

Successful Survivors Foundation exists to help survivors of abuse succeed specifically because of what they’ve been through. Survivors of childhood abuse can become successful survivors by mining the lessons from the pain and applying them to their lives, by learning work ethic, and by developing positive character traits.

One Sky is a registered Thai Foundation working to meet the needs of vulnerable children in the Thai-Burma border district of Sangkhlaburi. We approach children's needs holistically, seeking sustainable, family-based solutions that are guided by children's best interests and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

The Mission of the Schoolcraft College Foundation is to support the programs, purposes and initiatives of Schoolcraft College. We do this by securing resources to provide scholarships for students, funds for innovative and emerging initiatives developed by our faculty and staff for the benefit of the campus community, and other initiatives important to meeting the mission of Schoolcraft College.

The Wilson Research Foundation is the philanthropic fundraising arm of Methodist Rehabilitation Center (MRC) in Jackson, MS, with a focus on clinical research, education and innovation. Funds raised support a talented team of research investigators who work closely with hospital clinicians and patients to improve rehab outcomes. Results of clinical studies are offered up for publication which has an impact on rehab medicine worldwide. The research program has three dedicated research spaces, a Neurophysiology Lab, Motion Analysis Lab and Neurorobotics Lab, all filled with state of the art equipment and made available to clinicians on a daily basis. Patients are not charged for research services. Most of the funds are raised by the Foundation, with some extramural grant support.

Raincoast is a not-for-profit charitable organization that relies on the financial support of those who share our passion and vision. Our mandate: Investigate, Inform, Inspire. We investigate to understand coastal species and processes. We inform by bringing science to decision makers and communities. We inspire by building a vision of stewardship for the BC coast. The Fresh Outlook Foundation (FOF) envisions a future in which people of all ages and from all sectors communicate and collaborate to make our communities more socially, culturally, environmentally, and economically sustainable. This is possible only when people talk with one another about important community issues, challenges, and opportunities. To that end, the Fresh Outlook Foundation’s passion is “building sustainABLE communities through conversations that inspire positive change.” FOF creates opportunities for those conversations to unfold at events such as the Building SustainAble Communities conference, REEL CHANGE SustainAbility Film Fest, ECO-BLAST Kids’ Camp & Concert, Thompson-Okanagan Climate Action Exchange, Breakfast of Champions, and Women 4 SustainAbility.
