Our vision is to empower all children to avoid the education poverty trap caused by inadequate school readiness due to lack of access to high quality Early Childhood Development learning programmes. We achieve our vision through the holistic model we have developed, by: creating top quality learning environments in which principals, teachers and learners can flourish and grow, assisting principals to develop their education-provision businesses, making them sustainable and professional, training principals and teachers to provide a top class education to their learners empowering parents to actively support their children through training and development initiatives, providing empowerment for all stakeholders through development of resources, including physical and information technology infrastructure.

We work with primary schools in Malawi to improve the literacy levels of thousands of underprivileged children across the country. These children are required to be fluent in the English language by the time they reach Year 5, when all subjects are taught and examined in English. CharChar has developed a literacy program (the CharChar Literacy Programme - CCLP) to support the Malawi National Curriculum and the National Reading Program (NRP). The CCLP focusses on developing the phonemic awareness of teachers and pupils through the delivery of phonics workshops, on-site training and support to our own volunteer literacy support specialist teachers and government teachers alike.

Greensleeves exists to provide a home, a family and a future to children who have been abandoned, abused or orphaned. We aim to care for our children in a cohesive and Christ centred, family environment, where all their physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met; equipping them with the skills and ambition to reach their full potential. Each child has the choice of religion, but with South Africa being a Christian country the majority of children are christian. They have freedom of choice and we teach all religions in school

The Rideau Waterway Land Trust Foundation is a non-government, nonprofit community based land trust. The Trust was incorporated in 1996 as a registered charity and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Trust maintains a vibrant membership who shares an abiding interest in the preservation of lands within the Rideau Corridor.

The Haliburton Highlands Land Trust is a community-based, not-for-profit, non-governmental charity in Haliburton County. The Land Trust works to conserve the plants, wildlife and clean water of Haliburton County to ensure a legacy of forests, fields and wetlands, and the species they nurture.

The Bethany House Trust initiates, implements, co-ordinates and manages projects critical to the children and youth of South Africa.
