The American River Natural History Association (ARNHA) and the Effie Yeaw Nature Center are dedicated to providing educational and interpretive programs and information about the natural environment, principally in the American River Parkway.

Founded in 1972, the American Indian Higher Education Consortium provides leadership and influences public policy on American Indian higher education issues through advocacy, research, and program initiatives; promotes and strengthens Indigenous languages, cultures, communities and tribal nations; and provides a wide array of technical assistance support to member institutions and emerging tribal colleges. Today, AIHEC is composed of 36 Tribal Colleges and Universities in the United States and one in Canada that are tribally controlled and provide higher educational opportunities that are locally and culturally-based to American Indians. AIHEC's vision is sovereign tribal nations through excellence in higher education.

VLAFF is a non-profit cultural promoter that strives to entertain audiences, provide insight into Latin American social issues, and celebrate the rich traditions of these diverse countries. This annual festival promotes dialogue between cultures and explores historical and social issues through the eyes of filmmakers. Since 2003, VLAFF has continued to provide audiences with the unique opportunity of experiencing Latin American cinema in Vancouver.

The American Center for Mongolian studies (ACMS) is a non-profit educational organization that supports the development of Mongolian studies and academic exchanges with inner Asia. The activities of the ACMS include the development of academic resources, student and research support and the fostering of academic partnerships in all fields of study related to Mongolia.

The Fund for American Studies has been educating young leaders on the values of freedom, democracy and free-market economies since 1967. Eleven institutes around the world bring college students together for educational programs engaging them in a rigorous examination of economic concepts, political systems, and moral philosophy. Founded in 1981, AFAR is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to support and advance healthy aging.  AFAR helps researchers begin and further their careers in aging research and geriatric medicine.  Over the past 26 years, AFAR has awarded more than $132 million to approximately 2,800 MD’s, PhD’s, and students.

PAGA's mission is to provide comprehensive development services to underprivileged Filipino Amerasian children, breaking the cycle of poverty and helping them to become valuable, respected, and actively participating members of Filipino society.

APIAVote is a national nonpartisan organization that works with partners to mobilize Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in electoral and civic participation.

Student African American Sisterhood (SAAS) is an inspiring NOT-FOR-PROFIT organization dedicated to unifying African American women through the development of a sisterhood of distinction. SAAS seeks to positively impact the lives of its membership through creating supportive networks among African American females, encouraging and assisting with personal and professional development, and providing strategies for educational attainment and success throughout the collegiate experience and beyond. The women of SAAS are committed to planning and implementing programs that empower not only themselves, but the community at large. SAAS members are encouraged to exemplify positive leadership and sisterhood in the academic environment and in the community. As sisterhood is built, women will be empowered personally, academically, socially, and spiritually.
