The Eastern Townships is unique in its history and heritage. The people of the area are noted for their sense of community and commitment to institutions and organizations. It is the aim of the Foundation to support this commitment by directing funds raised towards gras-roots, volunteer-based organizations and projects in the fields of health and social services, arts and heritage, youth, education and research.

The main focus of Okala’s work is the health and education of the village children, and the urgent medical needs of the villagers. Through continued sponsorship with Okala Foundation, the children receive a hot lunch every school day, all necessary school supplies needed for the year, plus a mosquito net to help reduce the spread of diseases like malaria and dengue fever.

Lambda Foundation raises money to enable universities to grant awards to outstanding students who, through their scholarly and professional achievements, contribute to new knowledge about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex issues. Lambda is also committed to expanding its current high school award program for student leadership in anti-bullying, LGBTI-straight, and similar alliances.

The Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice is the only philanthropic organization working exclusively to advance LGBTQI human rights around the globe. We support brilliant and brave grantee partners in the U.S. and internationally who challenge oppression and seed change. We work for racial, economic, social, and gender justice, because we all deserve to live our lives freely, without fear, and with dignity.

Because there are still too many teens dropping out of school...Through the Driving Your Success program, the TRIOOMPH Foundation encourages and motivates students to roll up their sleeves and finish their high school or vocational education. Driving Your Success is: • Support for existing stay-in-school initiatives • Mentors and mentor-drivers from business and professional circles dedicated to serving as a source of inspiration for young participants • An opportunity for students to achieve their academic and personal goals, become a Prix TRIOOMPH recipient and take part in a TRIOOMPH-ant day of learning first-hand about the world of motorsports

Our Calgary based not for profit organization has worked with families and children with delays or disabilities since 2002. Our teams of professionals provide high quality, research-based programs for children and their families. Lead Foundation's teams work with a range of children from those with mild speech, motor, or behavior delays to children with more complex challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our mandate is to help children and their families practice and learn new skills within their home, preschool, and community. One of our programs focuses on supports for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. These children can experience significant difficulties with communication, motor challenges, and social skills. Their combined challenges often interfere with their participation in family activities and community based group programs.

According to the World Health Organization, Haiti is the most water-impoverished country on the face of the Earth. They have water, it is just not safe to drink it! They are also the most economically impoverished country in the western hemisphere. They are our neighbours! We are working in Haiti through Clean Water for Haiti Foundation. We are employing Haitians to build and install bio-sand water filters for Haitians in their homes. These filters are very durable and extremely effective in filtering out all biological pathogens, producing safe, clean water from even the most contaminated sources. One bio-sand filter can produce enough clean water everyday to supply the needs of even large families. In Haiti, families can commonly be 8-12 people, sometimes more, and most of them are children. And children are always the ones most affected by water-borne illnesses. Water-borne illness is the second largest cause of death in Haiti and the #1 cause of death in children.

“Geoscientists for our Future” The CSPG Educational Trust Fund (ETF) is a Registered Charity with the Canada Revenue Agency that raises money for an endowment fund to support programs that advance petroleum geoscientific education. The slogan “Geoscientists for our Future” represents the purpose of the ETF: ensuring that there are well-educated and skilled petroleum geoscientists for the future.

For almost 30 years The Haven has offered programs for personal and professional growth and development.People leave The Haven with skills to be fully alive, have healthy relationships and communicate effectively. Our programs address life issues including anxiety, anger, depression, sexuality and addictions.The Haven is a not for profit charitable organization and is located on beautiful Gabriola Island, BC, Canada.
