Healthy Generations

The Canadian Paediatric Foundation (CPF) was established in 1985 as a charitable organization to help the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) fulfill its mission. Funds raised helped the CPS develop health information for Canadian families, provide education for those caring for children and youth and support advocacy on child health issues. Much has changed since the CPF was founded in 1985. What is unchanged however is our commitment to the health and well-being of children and youth in Canada and abroad. In 2005, the foundation celebrated its 20th anniversary. Part of that celebration included a new name and identity: Healthy Generations: Building a Future for Children and Youth.

École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal Foundation

AN EDUCATION THAT FOLLOWS THE NATURAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal is North America’s only private French Waldorf School. It offers a unique education that follows the natural development of children. This uniqueness is attracting a new generation of parents whose goal is to nurture their children with academics that are not forced but rather evolve with their unique rhythm. INFUSED WITH THE ARTS What better way to learn than by doing? Subjects are unified by the invaluable integration of the arts - whether drawing, playing, manual work, singing or dancing. Educating the whole child (mind, body and spirit) is paramount. Children learn subjects through storytelling, visual stimulation, and experience. ERSM follows the government curriculum, but with a unique approach.

The Unlocking Potential (UP) Foundation raises funds for Catholic Family Service (CFS) to help people deal with debilitating issues like poverty, addictions, abuse, mental health and other concerns that stand in the way of living life to its full potential. UP was created in 2009 as a distinct foundation dedicated to “unlocking the potential” of the Calgary community to take part in raising money for innovative, high-impact programs aimed at “unlocking the potential” of vulnerable people to thrive. Humanity above all is our mantra. This means we don’t turn our backs on anyone – from any faith or culture. We treat everyone with love, kindness and respect – just like a member of the family.
