We serve children, adults and families affected by facial differences both congenital and acquired; health care, social service, and dental professionals; and educators across Canada and around the world. OUT Saskatoon Inc. welcomes and provides services to all people however they choose to define themselves in terms of sexual and gender identity, firm in our understanding that homophobia and heterosexism have an impact on the health and well-being of all in our society. We see our work as including but not restricted to: education, support and improved access to health services. The programs and services we offer include: operation of a 1-800 information and peer counselling line, a resource library and drop-in centre, support programs for specific target groups including transgender persons, youth, as well as social programming as requested by our community. We provide educational outreach to professionals and students in high schools, colleges and universities, health care and social services agencies as well as the LGBTT community and the larger community.
The purpose of the foundation is to support programs which advance the widest ranging community improvements in such areas as arts and culture, health and social services, heritage preservation, community facilities and programs, education, sports and recreation.

Civic Nebraska works to create a more modern and robust democracy for all Nebraskans. While our organization is divided into three program areas, Civic Health, Youth Civic Engagement, and Voting Rights, these programs work in tandem to invest in the lives of Nebraskans. Inter Pares is a Canadian organization dedicated to promoting international social justice. In Canada and overseas it works to build understanding about the causes and effects of poverty and injustice, and the need for social change. Inter Pares accompanies communities in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Canada to create sustainable livelihoods and healthy futures, including humanitarian assistance and human rights protection for people caught up in civil violence. It supports people’s struggles for self-determination and their efforts to challenge structural obstacles to change, accompanying people in their efforts to hold their governments accountable and to promote democratic social and economic policies. Through advocacy and coalition-building, Inter Pares also links social action at home with social change work abroad, promoting relationships of mutual support among activists around the globe. The Vancouver Chamber Choir is one of Canada’s national treasures, an outstanding professional vocal ensemble noted for its diverse repertoire and performing excellence. The Choir has been performing to audiences at home in Vancouver and on tour across Canada since it was formed in 1971 by conductor Jon Washburn. International excursions have taken the Vancouver Chamber Choir to the USA, Mexico, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Finland, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine. Honoured with the Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence by Chorus America, the Vancouver Chamber Choir has to its credit countless performances, 30 recordings, hundreds of radio broadcasts and numerous awards. Recognized by the Canadian League of Composers as foremost supporters of Canadian music, Jon Washburn and the Choir have commissioned and premiered nearly 250 Canadian choral compositions.
4-H is an organization of leaders building leaders. Approximately 6000 youth 6-21 years of age, and a grass roots network of 1800 trained, screened volunteers pledge their Head, Heart, Hands and Health as members of community-based clubs. The Cloverbud Program includes youth 6-8 years old. With projects encompassing agriculture, food, health and the environment, 4-H Ontario's "Learn To Do By Doing" clubs, camps and conferences have a successful 98 year history in developing competence, confidence, connection, character and caring within rural and urban youth.
By focusing on the development of communities and families, KANPE addresses the diverse needs of the Haitian people: health, nutrition, education, financial independence and assistance. KANPE is combining its expertise with that of other organizations that have proven themselves in the field, such as Partners in Health (Zanmi Lasanté), which specializes in free healthcare for the underprivileged, and Fonkoze, which is dedicated to helping impoverished families achieve financial independence. KANPE is pooling its efforts with its partners’ to create a new comprehensive program designed to assist and support Haitian society’s most vulnerable populations in their fight for a better future.
