(1) The Air Force Association of Canada, formerly the Royal Canadian Air Force Association was established in 1948 as the national advocacy group to support and promote the Royal Canadian Air Force and to unite Air Force veterans of the Second World War. (2) The Royal Canadian Air Force Association Trust was established in 1975 under the authority of Association By-Law 7(g)(iii) after endorsement, as a Silver Anniversary project at the 1973 Annual General Meeting of the Association (NEC 52-13). (3) The Trust is a subsidiary of the Air Force Association of Canada, created in accordance with the Trust Agreement, included at Annex A, responsible for raising and distributing funds at the National level for the Association charitable and heritage programs. (4) The Trust is a registered charitable organization.

To this end, it will provide scholarships/bursaries for qualified Barbadian and /or citizens of the Commonwealth Caribbean who wish to pursue studies in their chosen field with the intention of contribution to the long term development of the region
The Ukrainian Canadian Congress UCC represents the Ukrainian Canadian community before the people and Government of Canada, promotes linkages with Ukraine and identifies and addresses the needs of the Ukrainian community in Canada to ensure its continued existence and development for the enhancement of Canada's socio-cultural fabric. Currently there are well over 1.2 million Canadians of Ukrainian background living in Canada. The Ukrainians first settled in Canada in the 1880’s and have developed strong communities in every region of Canada.
The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) has supported graduate study, literacy and the creative arts through awards and grants since its founding in 1919. Since 1921 CFUW has awarded more than $1,000,000 on the Fellowships, Grants and Awards that it offers annually for Canadian women for post-graduate study in Canada and abroad. CFUW's National Fellowship and Award recipients have produced work in a variety of academic areas, including international humanitarian efforts, feminist and gender analysis, advanced science and engineering, medicine, public health, and social justice.
