CEDSA

The Canadian Ectodermal Dysplasias Syndromes Association (CEDSA) will act as the national information and resource centre on provincial and territorial funding programs, medical expertise, ongoing research and support groups. Working with established ectodermal dysplasias associations around the world, CEDSA will support research towards a cure, raise awareness of EDS and connect children, youth, family and friends seeking support and a place to share information.

LITTLE PEOPLE OF ONTARIO

Started in 1965, the Little People of Ontario (LPO) is a provincial, charitable organization that provides life-long fellowship, support and information to people of short stature, their families and friends. The LPO hosts social activities and sends its members regular newsletters. It provides up-to-date information about medical issues, community and government support services, and ongoing education about the challenges of living life as a little person.

Magik-Art Foundation

Through the performing arts programs, the participants have the possibility to discover and deepened their knowledge and experience in performing arts disciplines (circus arts, dance, theater, music) and in dept exploration and training in team building, cooperation, self-confidence and social involvement in community. The program will be open to international organization and youth programs of all ages. To run this program, the foundation mission is to build and manage a performing arts center with residences and facilities that will be constructed on a land of 350 acres that will be acquired with donations.

Farmers Helping Farmers Inc.

Initially called the International Family Farm Exchange Association, this registered charity is now simply known as Farmers Helping Farmers. The organization has carried out several hundred development projects in both Kenya and Tanzania. Financial inputs since 1980 exceed $10 million Canadian, including funds contributed by CIDA. John McGivney Children's Centre

The John McGivney Children's Centre is one of 21 Children's Treatment Centres in Ontario. Services provided to more than 2,300 children age birth-21 include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, communication therapy, augmentative communication, seating and mobility, specialized medical clinics, autism services, psychology, social work, behavioural consultation, integrated preschool program and the JMCC School Authority (Section 68 specialized school for children with disabilites).

In operation for over sixty years in Calgary, Alliance Française offers of Calgary a variety of French educational, training and cultural programs for Francophones, those who wish to learn French or Francophiles who have a love for all things France. pounds per square inch performance

Based in Toronto, pounds per square inch performance has produced over 30 of Trentham’s original works; assisted in the development, creation and presentation of more than 20 productions for numerous independent artists including international productions; involved over 150 artists of various disciplines in its four diverse community based Season in a Day performance events; and has supported a number of art education and outreach programs such as a new initiative begun in 2004, The National Voice Intensive Bursary Project.

THE CANADIAN ADDISON SOCIETY/LA SOCIETE CANADIENNE D'ADDISON

The primary purpose of our site is to offer information about Addison's Disease. Through our various support groups, we have contacts who may be able to provide information to the many questions a newly diagnosed Addisonian might have; as well as the opportunity of personal contact with somebody who has experienced some of the concerns associated with the disease. Our third goal is to help educate not only the medical society but also the public to aspects of the disease.

MERCY AND CARING CHILDREN'S HOMES

We have a Children's Home & school in Kenya, Africa. We have 92 children on our 10 acre property at present, with the hope as we grow to have up to 150 children. We have both a volunteer Canadian Board & a Kenyan Board. We provide the children with food, clothing, schooling,medical help if needed & Christian Bible teaching. We work with Child Services there in Kenya. We are certified and accredited. Approx. 95% of all donations go to Kenya.
