The Ssubi Foundation

The Ssubi Foundation undertakes the following activities in Uganda, East Africa; 1.providing financial aid and school supplies (including school fees, uniforms, scholastic materials, medical costs, meals and transportation); 2.supporting the existing Ugandan school system by, building new school blocks or renovating existing schools, providing scholastic materials, and providing training and/or competitive salaries to teachers; and, 3. establishing micro-financing opportunities to help Ugandan families start small businesses.

Project HOPE - Humanitarian Opportunities for Peace and Education.

Project Hope is a volunteer based Canadian charity. We support children denied access to basic services that every child needs in order to develop into healthy and well-balanced individual. We provide educational and recreational activities, medical and humanitarian relief and practical training that can empower them with hope and skills for the future. We are currently working in Palestine, a nation where the majority of the population is age 18 or under and living under harsh conditions, making our work all the more important.

While our work is national and international in scope, Triune Arts is a charity of Ontario based members who discount or donate their professional services. We receive generous discounts and donations from suppliers to the film, theatre and video industry as well as grants from the public and private sectors. Income is generated through tuition from workshops and from distribution of film and video productions. As it heads into its thirtieth year of operation, Triune Arts continues to specialize in developing film, video, multimedia, music and theatre related projects and developing communications skills for professionals.

The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) has supported graduate study, literacy and the creative arts through awards and grants since its founding in 1919. Since 1921 CFUW has awarded more than $1,000,000 on the Fellowships, Grants and Awards that it offers annually for Canadian women for post-graduate study in Canada and abroad. CFUW's National Fellowship and Award recipients have produced work in a variety of academic areas, including international humanitarian efforts, feminist and gender analysis, advanced science and engineering, medicine, public health, and social justice.

Licensed to Learn

Licensed to Learn (L2L) is an affiliate of the International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF), a registered Canadian charitable organization. We train student tutors to provide support and mentorship to other students at their schools who struggle academically. Tutoring is provided at no cost to students. It has been proven to benefit youth by improving academic success and positive relationships among those being tutored, and by fostering the development of leadership skills among those tutoring. Currently, L2L is active principally in schools within the Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board.

As a growing charitable organization and the first of its kind in Canada, Hope's Home is immensely proud of its achievements and the standard of excellence it has set for such a unique model of care. Our families and children receive the benefit of physical and occupational therapies, integrated and inclusive programming, and the security and expertise from a team of specialized pediatric care providers. To maintain and grow a vital movement center dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the movement theories and practices created by Rudolf Laban and Irmgard Bartenieff. To introduce Laban Movement Analysis (LMA), the Bartenieff Fundamentals (BF), and related work to the general public, and to qualify movement professionals as Certified Movement Analysts (CMAs) through LIMS’ Certification Programs. To encourage Laban/Bartenieff-influenced artistic work, dance research and community engagement dance programs, and to seek the investment needed to publicize and support such endeavors. To bring together a dynamic network of international movement specialists and to promote communication, interaction and growth within the global community of LMA/BF professionals.

Columbia Bible College

Columbia Bible College is located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, and provides faith formation and professional ministry preparation for Christians of all ages as well as supports the churches of the region in the fulfillment of their mission. The Lifesaving Society is a full-service provider of programs, products and services designed to prevent drowning. We are a national volunteer organization and registered charity composed of tens of thousands of individual members, and over 4,000 affiliated swimming pools, waterfronts, schools and clubs. The Lifesaving Society is a leader and partner in the delivery of water safety education throughout Canada and around the world. We represent Canada in the Commonwealth Royal Life Saving Society and the International Life Saving Federation. The World Health Organization recognizes ILS as the world authority in the global effort to prevent drowning. The Lifesaving Society takes lead responsibility for drowning prevention in Canada.
