The Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) helps individuals and organizations to connect across cultures. We provide information, support and tools to help immigrants reach their goals. By engaging people through networks, education and arts programming we create a welcoming community. ICA offers services for newcomers, including settlement and integration counseling, translation and interpretation, English classes, mentoring, volunteer matching and peer support. We also provide outreach and education in the community through arts programming, as well as workshops on anti-racism, multiculturalism, diversity awareness, immigration and human rights.

Learning Disabilities Association of Chatham-Kent (LDACK) is a volunteer based, non-profit organization in existence in Chatham-Kent since 1976. We provide structured programs, an excellent resource library, mentoring, advocacy, support and information and referral to individuals of Chatham-Kent (parents, families, professionals) with or involved with Learning Disabilities (LD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related issues. Programs and services include after-school and summer tutoring, after-school and summer social skills, assistive technology training, after-school and summer secondary school preparation course - SOAR (SOme Assembly Required), information and referral, resource library, information meetings, newsletters, advocacy, and membership.

In pursuit of its mission, Lutheran Bible Translators of Canada conducts linguistic research; translates the Bible; facilitates literacy; promotes Scripture use; trains indigenous people; cooperates with local governments, educators, national church leaders and the local community; and involves Canadian Lutherans in building awareness through recruitment and by seeking partnerships for prayer, financial support, and encouragement.

The Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in 1986. We support the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in a number of ways. One, by offering public programs that are child, youth, family and adult focused. Second, we run two gift shops, Apperley Place Gift Shop in the Museum and Cumberland Gallery Gift Shop in the Legistlative Building. Third, we help with financial support for the on-going research that is conducted by the Royal Saskatchewan Museum.

For more than 40 years, the School has been training dancers who have been inspired by the depth of passion and the physical power of the human body in motion. Contemporary dance is an art form of kinetic expression, which both represents and reflects back to us our contemporary world through the elements of time, space, energy, musicality, and dynamics. It can provoke joy and wonder, sadness and despair, humour and delight, and deep feelings of passion and spiritual awareness. As an art form it keeps us profoundly in touch with others, with our environment, and with ourselves. Philosophically, training emphasizes the whole dancer - body, mind, and spirit - since excellent movement training engages the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our humanity. The School affirms its commitment to the education of all aspects of an individual through its strong and varied curriculum and through the provision of excellent role models in its faculty and guest artists.

The Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton is launching a fundraising campaign to better serve the city's growing number of sexual assault survivors. We currently provide individual and group counselling services to child and adult survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault at no cost to clients. We also do community outreach and education, staff a 24 hour crisis line and provide specialized treatment services for new Canadians who have experienced war rape in their country of origin. The online campaign asks for donations in exchange for sending a “candle of hope” to a friend. We appreciate your support. Light a candle in the darkness. Dare to be aware.

ABC Ontario is a provincially incorporated, all volunteer, federally registered charity (number 118777275 RR001) Since 1977, ABC has worked with parents, school boards, the Ministry and many stakeholders to meet the needs of bright and gifted learners in Ontario. ABC is represented on school board special education advisory committees and the Minister’s Advisory Council on Special Education. Giftedness is recognised as needing special education support under the Education Act. ABC provides newsletters, networking, local workshops and a conference for educators and parents. Through Chapters and volunteers, ABC supports families with advocacy and parent information sessions on identification, placement, education plans, and other special education issues. For over 30 years, the Adoptive Families Association of BC has promoted adoption and provided support and education to both children and families. Our province-wide family services help people considering adoption, those who have already adopted, and children and teens who are considering adoption. We are dedicated to finding a family for every child.
