Since 1974 the Canadian Phi Delta Theta Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $200,000 to over 200 undergraduates from every Canadian chapter of the fraternity, all thanks to the generosity of Phi Delt alumni living in Canada. Scholarship candidates are nominated annually by the undergraduate brothers of Canadian chapters. The Foundation reviews the applications and determines winners and scholarship amounts using the following criteria: chapter, campus and community involvement, academic standing, letters of reference, and financial need. The most outstanding scholarship recipient each year is recognized as the J. Fred Green Scholarship winner. The Foundation's Board of Directors includes alumni from across Canada. Donations are gratefully accepted from alumni and undergraduate brothers alike, as well as from others wishing to support us. We are a nonprofit charitable organization providing scholarships, bursaries and prizes to students graduating from grades 8 & 12 in southeast Manitoba. The foundation is in memory of Stacey Leanne Pchajek who died at the age of thirteen following a tragic motor vehicle accident which occurred on May 27, 1998. Florida by providing funds for programs and materials over and above traditional tax base funding for the Jacksonville Public Library. The Foundation encourages investments in the future of our community through a variety of giving opportunities, i.e., capital campaigns, donations, grants, endowment fund, Planned Giving programs and memorials.

THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF OTTAWA is a registered non-profit charity that raises private funds to help students in need and at risk of school failure, attending schools in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Children cannot learn if their basic needs are not met. Children come to school hungry every day. Many of our students face life challenges that place them at risk of school failure. Over 25% of Ottawa's children are living in poverty. We provide funding in emergency situations, for food and clothing, or medication, when a family is in financial crisis. The Foundation is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of business, education and community leaders, and chaired by Mr. Jim Orban, Publisher of the Ottawa Citizen. The Hearing Foundation of Canada is a national charitable organization established in 1979, led by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from the business and medical communities, many of whom have personal experience with hearing loss.

The purpose of the foundation is to support programs which advance the widest ranging community improvements in such areas as arts and culture, health and social services, heritage preservation, community facilities and programs, education, sports and recreation.

The Foundation’s mandate: To increase Science Literacy through the appreciation and interpretation of Earth sciences for students, teachers and the general public, enabling a more informed judgement of the validity and importance of current and future environmental issues.

The St. Patrick’s High School Foundation was founded in 1993, the year we celebrated the 150th Anniversary of the High School. Since then, its goals have been essentially the same: provide funding for student activities, provide financial assistance to students in need and award bursaries to encourage students to pursue post secondary studies.
