In addition to providing youth with scholarships, we offer the following programs. Platinum Dinner Program: we attend at various Youth Detention Centres & provide the youth with culturally diverse meals as well as provide workshops, presentations & mentoring to the youth. Second Chance Library Program – we have established libraries within various youth detention centres across Ontario. Each of the libraries are stocked with various types & levels of reading materials. In addition, we have obtained donations of various sports paraphernalia which are displayed in the libraries & which make them more inviting for the youth. Second Chance Steel Pan Group - we have established steel pan programs within various youth detention centres across Ontario. This program allows the youth to learn how to play the steel pan while also allows them to learn leadership, cooperation, tolerance & respect for themselves & others.
Wellspring is a Canadian based Christian non profit organization created in response to the vision of Rwandan people to rebuild their nation through quality education.
The ELF provides training, materials and small grants to community organizations and schools across Canada in order to assist them in the development of children's literacy initiatives. ELF-supported programs have served over 13 000 children, predominantly from First Nations, new Canadian and low-income communities. We believe that literacy is the birthright of all Canadians. ELF-supported communities often report illiteracy rates of over 90%! With our support, programs serving children and youth at risk, have dramatically increased literacy rates.
The Vision Our programs are designed to directly help diabetics not only in Canada but worldwide and, at the same time, preserve the birthplace of Sir Frederick Banting. Fighting Diabetes We are dedicated to preventing diabetes, contributing to the search for a cure and helping diabetics to realize a better quality of life. Our programs emphasize prevention through education. They include a special focus on adolescents, children, First Nations and other at-risk communities, through pursuit of excellence in diabetes outreach education supported by world-class research and clinical initiatives in paediatric diabetes. Preserving a Legacy We are committed to restoring and preserving the historic site of Sir Frederick’s birth as a publicly accessible, unique venue in which families and visitors from around the world can enjoy a welcoming recreational experience combined with motivational education in the environment in which a great Canadian was born and spent his early years.
CanILF conducts the following activities in at-risk areas: 1.) Providing online education (such as courses in entrepreneurship, business management or Information Technology) to students. 2.) Awarding scholarships to students who demonstrate academic potential, community service and leadership, and to provide educational equipment (such as computers or textbooks) to the schools they attend. 3.) Offering instruction, advice and practical assistance on planning, management and proposal writing to the leaders of educational institutions.

To advance the education of students attending St. Matthew High School by providing scholarships/bursaries to grade 12 students who will be attending post-secondary education in a program that is of artistic nature, such as, fashion design, music, literature, and drama. To disburse funds to a qualified donee - the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada.
