The NSFC’s grant distribution program is entirely dependent on donations. The NSFC has distributed over $250,000 in grants to fund numerous organizations and other educational activities including, but not limited to: the Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation’s Congress for educational courses, the Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses, the Canadian Association of Electroneurophysiology Technologists, the Association of Electromyography Technologists of Canada, the Canadian Movement Disorders Group and the CNSF for Neurology and Neurosurgery Resident Education, through the Don Paty Fund. As the NSFC continues to move forward, we are exploring new ways in which to support the neurological community.

The goal of the 4-H program is youth development. The objectives of 4-H clubs are knowledge, leadership, citizenship and personal development. Platinum Dinner Program: we attend at various Youth Detention Centres & provide the youth with culturally diverse meals as well as provide workshops, presentations & mentoring to the youth. Second Chance Library Program – we have established libraries within various youth detention centres across Ontario. Each of the libraries are stocked with various types & levels of reading materials. In addition, we have obtained donations of various sports paraphernalia which are displayed in the libraries & which make them more inviting for the youth. Second Chance Steel Pan Group - we have established steel pan programs within various youth detention centres across Ontario. This program allows the youth to learn how to play the steel pan while also allows them to learn leadership, cooperation, tolerance & respect for themselves & others.
Wellspring is a Canadian based Christian non profit organization created in response to the vision of Rwandan people to rebuild their nation through quality education.
The ELF provides training, materials and small grants to community organizations and schools across Canada in order to assist them in the development of children's literacy initiatives. ELF-supported programs have served over 13 000 children, predominantly from First Nations, new Canadian and low-income communities. We believe that literacy is the birthright of all Canadians. ELF-supported communities often report illiteracy rates of over 90%! With our support, programs serving children and youth at risk, have dramatically increased literacy rates.
