CanILF conducts the following activities in at-risk areas: 1.) Providing online education (such as courses in entrepreneurship, business management or Information Technology) to students. 2.) Awarding scholarships to students who demonstrate academic potential, community service and leadership, and to provide educational equipment (such as computers or textbooks) to the schools they attend. 3.) Offering instruction, advice and practical assistance on planning, management and proposal writing to the leaders of educational institutions.

As a provincial Centre of Excellence for environmental stewardship, a revitalized Cheakamus Centre will: • build on the 40-year legacy of the North Vancouver Outdoor School • embody and demonstrate best practices in sustainable living and green building design • be an inclusive and accessible hub of discovery for life-long learning through the full range of educational experiences and programs • be a provincial anchor for dialogue, networking, and research to support the invention of a positive environmental future • embody best practices and innovation in learning and instruction • empower youth to create positive change

Objectives: - to advance education of needy children - to alleviate poverty through funding of micro-projects that generate jobs and income. - to improve the health and wellbeing of the vulnerable children and families.

To advance the education of students attending St. Matthew High School by providing scholarships/bursaries to grade 12 students who will be attending post-secondary education in a program that is of artistic nature, such as, fashion design, music, literature, and drama. To disburse funds to a qualified donee - the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada.
