The work of our Foundation is carried out by volunteers in order to keep our administrative costs at a minimum,and to ensure that funds are directed to the beneficiaries of our projects. We also encourage our beneficiaries to share the gifts and participate in the projects administered by our Foundation.

The endowments encompass fifty distinct funds, all of which benefit Greater Saint John.
Everett Koeller founded the Charitable Foundation of the Family in 1989 as an avenue to perform grass roots work in our community. His objective remains today as we strive to maximize donors’ contributions to helping those in need of our help. Over the years the Charitable Foundation of the Family has been able to focus its charitable giving to helping those that were not being helped by other community resources. In addition to fundraising, The University of Winnipeg Foundation manages a $40 million Endowment Fund that provides support to scholarships, bursaries, projects and programs, helping to ensure dynamic possibilities for The University of Winnipeg and Collegiate and their students for years to come.
RNFOO is a charitable foundation that provides financial support for nurses and nursing students to further their education and to engage in research. The Foundation provides funds for continuing education and research projects at the baccalaureate and graduate levels, offering scholarships, grants, bursaries, and research awards to qualified residents of Ontario. It administers several Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) Interest Group Awards and Scholarships. It provides funding for basic undergraduate studies, post-RN undergraduate studies, graduate studies, and continuing education, as well as providing Continuing Education awards, RNAO Interest Group awards and Infection Control awards. RNFOO is a charity that relies on charitable donations.
Family & Children's Services Niagara is Niagara's Children's Aid Society, providing foster care to approximately 500 children and child protection services and community programs to thousands more throughout Niagara. The Foundation supports FACS' work by funding enrichments and enhancements for these children such as recreation, education and capital needs.
The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation of Canada has a completely volunteer Board of Directors and Officers, continuing the legacy started in 1992. This year, the scholarship will award $5000. Being a completley volunteer organization, 94.5% of every dollar donated goes to the scholarship with 5.5% being used for minor administrative expenses.
Kids Helping Kids is recognized as a charitable foundation (charitable registration number 82682 5341 RR0001) to make donations to qualified donnees under the Income Tax Act (Canada) that benefit boys and girls under 18 years of age, whether to help with education, or to help those who are underprivileged.
The National Ballet School Foundation supports The National Ballet School of Canada by sustaining general operations, providing Graduate Awards, and through the Financial Assistance Program for talented students which provides dance training opportunities regardless of financial circumstance. Awards are presented annually and financial support is provided for other purposes as determined by the donor’s wishes.

The Hills of Erin Cancer Prevention Foundation was established to 1. Prevent sickness and disability, specifically cancers of all kinds, caused by exposure to environmental or occupational carcinogens and contaminants. 2. Advance education and increase public understanding regarding carcinogens and contaminants in the environment by delivering public workshops and seminars. 3.Conduct and/or publish research into safe alternatives to carcinogens and contaminants in consumer products.
