SINCE 2006 WE HAVE BEEN MAKING TRIPS WITH VOLUNTEERS,ONCE A YEAR,TO REMOTE VILLAGES IN GHANA TO SPONSOR SELECTED CHILDREN TO GO TO SCHOOL. FROM 50 SPONSORED KIDS IN 2006 ,WE HAVE GROWN TO 180 SPONSORED KIDS IN 2010 THANKS TO GROWING NUMBER OF SPONSORS JOINING US. SPONSORS RECEIVE PHOTOS OF THEIR SPONSORED CHILD EVERY YEAR.

A classroom that rocks! Founded in 1999, Broad Reach Foundation for Youth Leaders is a registered charity built on partnerships with youth-serving agencies in the Toronto community. Promoting accessibility and inclusion, we believe that economics should never be a barrier to participation. Offering the only free program for at-risk youth that combines building life skills, job training and sailing in a unique setting aboard one of our 40' sailboats. Our programs centre on four aspects of their lives - intellectual, physical, emotional and vocational. Through on-shore and on-water programs, youth aged 12-24, use sailing as a learning medium to develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, responsibility and positive work ethic.

People For the American Way is a national progressive advocacy organization that inspires and mobilizes Americans to defend freedom, justice, and democracy from those who threaten to take them away. For more than four decades, we have been dedicated to making the promise of America real for everyone and have worked toward a vision of a vibrant America where basic rights and freedoms are upheld for all, not just the wealthy and the powerful.

Fine Educational, athletic and cultural opportunities, as well as landmark architecture, are all part of the contribution GPRC makes to community life in Grande Prairie and the Peace River region. More than 2,000 students annually pursue university studies, career and academic upgrading programs, and trades and agricultural studies at GPRC and its Fairview College Campus and some 6,000 students register in training programs and continuing education classes each year. The Grande Prairie Campus is situated on a picturesque urban lake and is adjacent to trails well-suited for walking, biking and cross country skiiing. The Fairview College Campus includes a 300 seat theare, racquet ball and squash courts, community pool and weight room, all located on a large parcel of land that is a cornerstone to the community of Fairview, Alberta. GPRC is also stewards for community learning centres in Edson, Grande Cache,Hinton and Jasper, Alberta.

We provide resources to communities who are motivated to advance themselves economically by forming productive agricultural co-operatives.

There are nine categories of Resource/Information and Educational programs provided by the BNSSCF. The following programs impack the lives of our low income seniors, their families and communities. They also help to create healthier communities for all. * Community Liaison * Resource/Information & Education * Social Issues * Computer Training * Advocacy & Referral Services * Collective Kitchen * Drop-in Activity * Testimonials to be heard * Yearly Event Long term Goal: to provide housing for low income seniors.

Future Aces initiatives touch the lives of more than 70,000 students annually. We service over 170 schools across the GTA with motivational presentations and workshops, run an annual student leadership conference and have awarded more than $400,000 in scholarships to graduating high school students who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and community service. As well, our new initiative, Future Aces Positive Ticketing, has been very successful as a pilot project in collaboration with the Toronto Police Services.

INFUSED WITH THE ARTS What better way to learn than by doing? Subjects are unified by the invaluable integration of the arts - whether drawing, playing, manual work, singing or dancing. Educating the whole child (mind, body and spirit) is paramount. Children learn subjects through storytelling, visual stimulation, and experience. ERSM follows the government curriculum, but with a unique approach.

World Community Services is sponsoring the Danli Market Children Program. A gift of $100 will allow a primary age student to attend public school for a year and $350 supports a child in secondary school for a year. Without education there is no hope.

Our purpose is to recognize the sacrifices of our military and place a poppy on all soldiers' headstones that lay in Fields of Honour in Canada. Through our ceremonial efforts we will educate, and engage the next generation, and help raise awareness and funds for our Canadian veterans and their families.
