SuzukiMusic, also known as the National Capital Suzuki School of Music, was founded in 1987 to promote the musical education of children and to nurture their development through the Suzuki method. It is a registered non-profit corporation governed by an elected Board of Directors comprised of parents, teachers and interested citizens. The Board of Directors contracts with professional Suzuki music instructors to provide individual and group music lessons. All SuzukiMusic teachers are professional musicians, and have received specialized training in Suzuki teaching from accredited Suzuki institutes. Individual lessons are offered in the teacher's home studio. A parent, who also acts as a home teacher and promoter of daily practice, always accompanies the child to lessons. SuzukiMusic embraces children of all ages and abilities, including special needs children.

The National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) / Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Association for Children, together with its state and local members, supports and promotes court appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. Every year, over 600,000 children experience foster care and need a caring adult to speak up for their best interests. A CASA/GAL volunteer is that voice.

Sacred Heart School of Halifax is a Catholic independent school, co-ed preschool to grade 6, girls' only grade 7-12, boys' only grade 7-12, Sacred Heart School of Halifax stimulates young minds and fosters a lifelong love of learning. The goals of the school are to educate to: • faith which is relevant in today’s world • respect for intellectual values • personal growth • the building of community as a Christian value • a sense of social justice which impels to action.

Encouraging Women Across All Borders (EWAAB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a world where young women and non-binary folks can enter and rise in any field they chose. They provide first and second year undergraduate students with meaningful mentorship and professional development opportunities to grow both their skills and their confidence.

The wildfires on the Carmel Mountain have been extinguished but the emergency continues! The Carmel is devastated and vulnerable to additional fires. The fires took 42 lives, destroyed hundreds of homes, consumed over 5 million trees and destroyed 25,000 acres of forest. The people of Haifa and the Carmel need your help. We must stand and help the families who have been evacuated and who lost their homes, we must rehabilitate the Carmel forest and we must strengthen the fire truck brigade with uniforms, equipment and replenish inventories of fire retardent chemicals to start. The Angel Foundation for Learning aims to ensure that all TCDSB students are equally able to participate in opportunities that sustain and enhance the educational process including: student nutrition programs, class trips, leadership activities, bursaries and funding for social work emergency needs, for instance: eyeglasses, hearing aids, food vouchers and other essentials for TCDSB students in need.
