The Toronto Consort is Canada's leading chamber ensemble specializing in the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance and early Baroque. Formed in 1972, the Consort presents an annual series of concerts in Toronto, and performs throughout Canada, the United States, Great Britain and Europe. Our Goals are to perform concerts in Toronto, and on tour; to create and present educational programming for students of all ages; to undertake recordings of the highest professional level; and to participate in presentations in other media (e.g., film, television, and radio).

From the pioneering families on the plains whose perseverance and resilience forged our City to the history of today as it unfolds , we are inclusive of all people who created Regina and who make it “home”. Our displays describe how Regina came to be, what shaped us then and what shapes us now.

The Michener Institute is Canada's leading post-secondary educational institution for applied health sciences. Founded in 1958 and located in downtown Toronto, Michener's unique combination of theory, laboratory instruction and clinical education prepares health professionals to meet the growing demands of Canada's health care system. Michener's expertise in applied health science education is nationally and internationally renowned. We serve over 800 full-time and 4,000 continuing education students with more than 30 academic offerings, and are constantly developing new programs to meet the changing needs of Canada's health care system.
The York School began as a non-profit corporation in 1965, operating several Montessori-based nursery school programmes until 1978, when it opened an elementary school in North Toronto. In 1997, York was designated an International Baccalaureate World School authorized to offer the IB Diploma in the last two years of high school. In March 2005, York became the first school in Canada - and the fourth in North America - accredited to offer a continuous, integrated programme from JK to university entrance. From the Early Years Programme (JK-SK) to Grade 12, our programme emphasizes development of research, problem solving and time-management skills within the context of the IB curriculum.

The Ssubi Foundation undertakes the following activities in Uganda, East Africa; 1.providing financial aid and school supplies (including school fees, uniforms, scholastic materials, medical costs, meals and transportation); 2.supporting the existing Ugandan school system by, building new school blocks or renovating existing schools, providing scholastic materials, and providing training and/or competitive salaries to teachers; and, 3. establishing micro-financing opportunities to help Ugandan families start small businesses.
