The work of our Foundation is carried out by volunteers in order to keep our administrative costs at a minimum,and to ensure that funds are directed to the beneficiaries of our projects. We also encourage our beneficiaries to share the gifts and participate in the projects administered by our Foundation.
The Greater Saint John Community Foundation serves as a trustee for charitable, educational and cultural purposes. It administers funds given by the public-spirited individuals for the benefit of the people of this area. Since 1976, the Foundation’s assets have grown to approximately $9 M. The endowments encompass fifty distinct funds, all of which benefit Greater Saint John.
In addition to fundraising, The University of Winnipeg Foundation manages a $40 million Endowment Fund that provides support to scholarships, bursaries, projects and programs, helping to ensure dynamic possibilities for The University of Winnipeg and Collegiate and their students for years to come.
Kids Helping Kids is recognized as a charitable foundation (charitable registration number 82682 5341 RR0001) to make donations to qualified donnees under the Income Tax Act (Canada) that benefit boys and girls under 18 years of age, whether to help with education, or to help those who are underprivileged.

For more than four decades, we have been dedicated to making the promise of America real for everyone and have worked toward a vision of a vibrant America where basic rights and freedoms are upheld for all, not just the wealthy and the powerful.
Fine Educational, athletic and cultural opportunities, as well as landmark architecture, are all part of the contribution GPRC makes to community life in Grande Prairie and the Peace River region. More than 2,000 students annually pursue university studies, career and academic upgrading programs, and trades and agricultural studies at GPRC and its Fairview College Campus and some 6,000 students register in training programs and continuing education classes each year. The Grande Prairie Campus is situated on a picturesque urban lake and is adjacent to trails well-suited for walking, biking and cross country skiiing. The Fairview College Campus includes a 300 seat theare, racquet ball and squash courts, community pool and weight room, all located on a large parcel of land that is a cornerstone to the community of Fairview, Alberta. GPRC is also stewards for community learning centres in Edson, Grande Cache,Hinton and Jasper, Alberta.
World Community Services is sponsoring the Danli Market Children Program. A gift of $100 will allow a primary age student to attend public school for a year and $350 supports a child in secondary school for a year. Without education there is no hope.
