Cornerstone Schools of Alabama was founded in 1993 by the late C. Molton Williams and area business and community leaders. These leaders sought to end the cycle of poverty that goes hand in hand with an inadequate education. The mission of Cornerstone Schools is to provide Birmingham's urban children a Christ-centered environment of excellence in learning, character development, fine arts, and service to community. Cornerstone recognizes the unique challenges facing today's urban families and provides the tools and resources necessary for children to develop to their fullest potential while supporting parents in nurturing their child's personal and spiritual growth, enhancing self-esteem, and teaching personal responsibility.

Founded in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the Art of Living is an educational and humanitarian movement engaged in stress-management and service initiatives. The organization operates globally in 152 countries and has touched the lives of over 370 million people. The Art of Living Mission is to educate and strengthen an individual to have a stress free mind and a violence free society. The Art of Living Foundation is dedicated to serving society by strengthening the individual. We do this by offering programs that eliminate stress, create a sense of belonging, restore human values, and encourage people from all backgrounds, religions, and cultural traditions to come together in celebrations and service

The Latin School of Chicago, founded in 1888, is a co-educational independent day school for students in grades junior kindergarten through twelve. The school was designed to provide students with a rigorous college-preparatory education in the classical tradition, with a curriculum that was heavily influenced by Classical studies and the study of the Greek and Latin languages, hence the name "Latin School." Latin is still taught at the school today and is offered starting in sixth-grade. The Latin School of Chicago provides its students with a rigorous and innovative educational program in a community that embraces diversity of people, cultures and ideas. Society of Young Inklings helps young writers—regardless of their circumstances—find their voices and make their mark on the world. We currently reach over 900 students annually in over 230 programs.
