Founded in 1983, the mission of Writers in the Schools (WITS) is to engage children in the joy and power of reading and writing. WITS was founded through the University of Houston's renowned creative writing program to bring some of our nation's most talented writers into school and community classrooms to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children. The WITS program is an effective force for educational change, integrating arts and education to ignite a love of learning in more than 400,000 children and their teachers since its founding. WITS leads an international movement for creative learning, helping children and teachers across the world explore literacy in creative ways.

Overseas China Education Foundation (OCEF) is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit charity Foundation. Its sole mission is to raise fund to promote China's education, focusing its work on helping under-privileged children in rural areas of China to obtain basic education.

OUR PURPOSE IS "TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION FOR ALL MARQUEZ CHARTER SCHOOL STUDENTS, BY PLANNING, FUNDING, AND/OR OPERATING SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO ENRICH THE CURRICULUM OF BASIC EDUCATION OFFERED TO STUDENTS AT MARQUEZ CHARTER SCHOOL; (CONT. SCH O) AND TO CONDUCT FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE SUPPORT OF SUCH PROGRAMS."

The foundation partners with the Asheville City Schools community to ensure every student has access to enriching, equitable educational opportunities. It raises funds, awards educator grants, runs after‑school and arts residency programs, and provides scholarships and emergency family supports to help students thrive.

The Muskegon Catholic Education Foundation raises funds, manages endowments, and awards grants and tuition assistance to support the Catholic schools in Muskegon County. Its purpose is to sustain school operations, provide scholarships/financial aid, and support school programs that keep Catholic education accessible in the local community.

iUrban Teen is a nationally recognized program focused on bringing STEM+C+A education to youth of color ages 13 to 18. Youth receive hands-on exposure to a variety of careers that step them outside their current boundaries. Our target demographics are African American, Latino and Native American youth, however, the program is inclusive of all youth who fall within the Non-Traditional STEM Learners category, including youth with disabilities.OUR GOALSIncrease awareness and knowledge of STEM+C+A careers and training.Provide mentoring and internship opportunities.Create a collaborative learning model for youth to continue to use in various surroundings.Create a personal development plan in an interactive environment.

Kipp Bay Area Schools operates high-performing, college-preparatory public charter schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kipp Bay Area Schools is part of the nationally acclaimed Kipp Network of Kipp Schools Nationwide. Kipp Schools Nationwide successfully help students from educationally underserved communities develop the knowledge, skills, and character needed to succeed in college and the competitive world beyond. In the year ended June 30, 2013, Kipp Bay Area Schools operated seven high- performing institutions.           

The South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics Foundation supports the mission of the SC Governor's School for Science and Mathematics by giving voice to its needs, providing supplemental funds to augment its programs and informing the public as to its accomplishments and contributions to the quality of life and economic prosperity of South Carolina.  

The Saratoga Education Foundation was established in 1982 by concerned parents when the government funding for schools was diminishing in a powerful effort to help sustain the level of excellence in classrooms for all students in the district. The foundation continues to support many important programs such as PE, art, music, libraries, technology and science in the four SUSD schools.

The foundation’s work is to advance excellence in the Clinton, Oklahoma public schools by maintaining an endowment and awarding grants, scholarships, and recognition to students and teachers. It funds classroom and professional-development grants, distributes multiple scholarships each year, and runs programs that celebrate academic achievement and support student pathways beyond high school.

The Sparta Education Foundation is a non-profit, all-volunteer, community based organization founded in 2006. Our Mission is to raise funds that will enable the Sparta Education Foundation to make ongoing charitable contributions that enrich the educational experience of children in the Sparta Public Schools.
