The Bird Rock Foundation is a parent-led 501(c)(3) that raises funds and organizes volunteers to support and enrich education at Bird Rock Elementary. It provides financial support and programming (art, music, PE, technology, classroom resources, and reduced class sizes) and fosters collaboration among parents, teachers, and the school community.

The Moraga Education Foundation (MEF) raises funds to preserve and enhance educational opportunities for all students attending Moraga public schools, through a broad-based community effort. We believe that together the entire community can build a better future for our children consistent with the educational goals of the Moraga School District and Campolindo High School.

The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools raises funds and builds community partnerships to remove barriers and expand opportunities for students and educators in Seminole County. It supports classroom grants, teacher and staff development, scholarships, and programs (for example Tools 4 Seminole Schools and Take Stock in Children) that help students enter school ready to learn and succeed.

Catlin Gabel School is Portland's nationally recognized progressive independent day school for students from preschool through twelfth grade. In 1957, The Catlin Hillside School and Gabel Country Day School merged to become the Catlin Gabel School. Gabel Country Day's roots date back to 1859 and The Portland Academy. Catlin Hillside School originated as Miss Catlin's School in 1911. The Catlin Gabel School supports inspired learning, leading to responsible action through dedicated teaching, caring relationships, a challenging curriculum, and community service. We value each person's effort, imagination, and positive contributions to the community. We celebrate being inclusive as well as the partnership between family and school.

The Virginia Symphony Orchestra is a leading cultural asset that is a source of regional pride, connecting everyone in Hampton Roads through the transformative power of exceptional musical performances and educational activities. In five years, the VSO and its musicians will be nationally recognized for having the artistic and financial resources to provide civic value to our diverse community well beyond residents who attend concerts. The mission of Lindsay Wildlife Experience is to connect people with wildlife to inspire responsibility and respect for the world we share. The museum was founded in 1955 by Alexander Lindsay, a local businessman, to teach children about natural sciences, particularly wildlife and their habitats. Over the years, the museum has developed a permanent collection of live, non-releasable native California wildlife and related artifacts. Lindsay is also a leader in the field of wildlife rehabilitation with a full veterinary staff and more than 500 volunteers. It is the first, and frequently only, resource for those who encounter injured, ill, or orphaned wildlife of all species, native mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles . During the recent drought years, Lindsay has treated record number of wild animals (more than 5,700 in the first 10 months of 2015). Begun in 1970, this formal wildlife rehabilitation program was the first of its kind in the United States.

Just Say YES – Youth Equipped to Succeed (“JSY”) is a 501(c)3 nationally recognized provider of programs for youth in 38 states with an emphasis on the DFW area (75% of agency programming is in DFW).  The mission of Just Say YES is to provide youth with factual and relational information equipping them to live healthy and successful lives.  We accomplish this by assisting communities, schools, and school districts in developing a customized character/risk avoidance education strategy.  We then bring together various resources – speakers, curriculum, and multimedia presentations – to implement the strategy as we present selected programs encouraging teens to pursue goals and avoid high risk behaviors such as alcohol and drugs, teen sexual activity, and bullying.

DCYOP’s mission is to empower young people to transform their lives through music and community. Founded in 1960 by DC Public School teacher Lyn McLain, DCYOP has been an integral part of the Washington, DC community, fostering the musical and academic development of more than 60,000 youth. The first youth orchestra to perform at the Kennedy Center, DCYOP has toured 23 countries, played for U.S. presidents and diplomats, and worked with world-renowned musicians including Aaron Copland, Lorin Maazel, Mstislav Rostropovich, Gustavo Dudamel, Joshua Bell, and Yo-Yo Ma. DCYOP has also received the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award and the District of Columbia Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Contributions to Arts Education.

The East Palo Alto Kids Foundation (EPAK) is a community-based, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to promote educational opportunity and academic success for students in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park. EPAK provides micro-grants directly to classroom teachers and finds sponsors to fund sponsored projects that significantly impact the learning environment for more than one classroom of students.

The Friends of Coonley School is a not-for-profit organization of parents, community members, teachers, and school administrators dedicated to supporting the John C. Coonley Elementary School through fundraising efforts. Friends of Coonley is rooted in the belief that great teachers and administrators build the best schools when they have the resources and funds they need. And, that building the best school helps our children flourish in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Nestled in the nation’s capital in the richest museum complex in the world is the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, a model early childhood program that places children at the center of every experience. The vast collections are the foundation for the culturally diverse curriculum, which offers a rare opportunity for learning. As an organization, SEEC is a leader in the field of museum-based education and influences practice within museums and schools. Our educators apply best practices recognized in the early childhood field and enrich the children’s learning through an object-based approach to teaching, sharing the rich stories associated with these objects in ways that make the curriculum deeper and richer. Museum educators within the program build on the practice established within the SEEC model, serving as content experts on the museums and blending theory and practice as a basis for outside consulting and professional development.

FFLV USA is a US charity dedicated to raising awareness, funds and coordinating support for Food For Life Vrindavan (FFLV). FFLV is dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor residents of Vrindavan and the Raj region of Uttar Pradesh, India. - particularly girls and women - by providing comprehensive, essential human services which empower them to pursue fulfilling lives and become exemplary members of society and by protecting the natural environment in which they live.
