LEGIBE, is a registered non-profit NGO, founded in May 2022 to empower vulnerable girls and teenage mothers in our community on the shores of Lake Victoria in Mukono District. Our vision is to improve the quality of life for vulnerable girls and teenage mothers in our community through our programs, as listed below: 1. Mental Health: The vulnerability of our community girls gives them stories to tell. Many of them have experienced rape, domestic violence, sexual abuse, family rejection, being orphaned, poverty, and diseases, eg, HIV/AIDS. Through our Mental Health program, we strive to support vulnerable girls and teenage mothers in our community by providing counseling after they share their stories. We regularly conduct counseling sessions, inviting counselors and women activists to speak with the girls, and encourage them to leave their past challenges and focus on their new life and what they want to become in the future. Through this program, their hope is restored, and they feel at home in their new life. 2. Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD): Through Music performances, Let The Girl Be-Uganda, helps to create a platform for girls and young mothers in the community to tell stories, share experiences, and create performances about our community's pressing challenges, like the girl-child education, diseases associated with poor sanitation, family planning, etc. These performances, therefore, act as a mobilizing tool to identify these community issues for awareness campaigns and prevention strategies. 3. Community Outreach Program: This program aims to work in partnership with the community members, especially local leaders and mothers/ guardians of the girls. We reach out to them regularly for sensitization and awareness creation about major issues affecting women and girls in our community. 4. In the Self-Sustenance program, girls learn sewing, knitting, and other skills that will enable them to have an income and become economically independent. The Education Program helps girls attend school. This program is currently paused.

On global and local levels, Sisterhood Agenda addresses social, health, economic and cultural issues facing women and girls to promote positive life outcomes. How To Save Millions Of Lives With A Simple MP3 Player The solar-powered device developed by URIDU is used to provide health education to illiterate rural women in developing countries Every six seconds a child under five dies. Almost all of those deaths occur in developing countries - and most of them are entirely preventable. Millions of lives could be saved just by providing illiterate rural mothers with accessible health education. Unfortunately, bringing this knowledge to remote locations has so far been an enormous challenge for both governments and NGOs. A new project is tackling that problem with a groundbreaking solution based on solar-powered MP3 players. The so-called MP3forLife Player has been developed by URIDU (www.uridu.org), a German non-profit social enterprise. Each player contains more than 400 carefully selected answers to questions about health, nutrition, family planning, child care, work safety and many more topics. All texts are translated with the help of more than 10.000 volunteers from over 100 countries who participate in a unique crowdsourcing effort. Once the information has been translated it is recorded by a native speaker of the target language. Local NGOs are taking care of distributing MP3forLife Players free of charge to women in need. We conceived the MP3forLife Player for small group listening - it fosters discussion, exchange and group building", explains Felicitas Heyne, psychologist and founder of URIDU. We want to provide basic knowledge to illiterate rural women, but we also want to create a team spirit among them. They are key to positive change in their countries. Wherever women are empowered, a favorable spiral is set in motion. Health and education improve, populations stabilize, economies grow." The MP3forLife approach has been successfully implemented in Tanzania in co-ordination with the national Ministry for Health and Social Welfare. The objectives of starting up the Batwa Initiative are: - (a) Transform the lives of Batwa people though training and building different skills for self-reliance. (b) To promote education among the Batwa. Currently the majority of the Batwa are illiterate, our aim is to ensure that the Batwa have access to education and are able to read, write and to develop their English skills. (c) To create and promote a peaceful community between the Batwa and the people of the Nkuringo- Bwindi Ugandan community. (d) To educate the Batwa about environmental conservation and promoting the wildlife of the Bwindi forest to the benefit of the Batwa and the forest ecology. (e) To buy more land to ensure food security and prosperity. >Project goal The project or Association goal is to help create a sustainable future for the Batwa. > Mission Our mission is to train indigenous Batwa pygmies, children, women in Agriculture, for food security, nutrition and other income generating activities for a sustainable living. > Set targets. (a) To start up poultry, piggery and a goat's project to enhance the Batwa people with food and incomes. (b) To develop income generating and training opportunities to allow the Batwa to support their own families and strengthen the resources. (c) To raise enough financial and material resources for the running costs of the project/association.

We aim to inspire people worldwide to engage as peacemakers and use music to transform lives. Today, Musicians Without Borders engages with artists, social activists and communities worldwide. We share expertise as we work to enable musicians to be advocates, activists, teachers, and performers, with the message: war divides, music connects. Musicians Without Borders (MWB) is a global network that uses music for peacebuilding and social change.

Worldwide, around 60 million children have no access to primary education and roughly 387 million children are unable to acquire basic skills, despite attending school (Global Education Monitoring Report, UNESCO, 2017). It is our vision to create a world in which every child can read and write. Since 2006, Visions for Children e.V. has been committed to ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to obtain a basic education with which they can acquire basic skills. We particularly build on and contribute to the fourth sustainability goal of the United Nations' Agenda 2030 - namely to ensure an equitable and high-quality education. We believe schools to be anchor points that give children the chance of a self-determined future by means of capacity building within the entire region.

Kisoro Community Volunteers Association (KCVA) is dedicated to empowering communities, particularly vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the disabled. Their mission encompasses several key areas : - *Empowerment through Vocational Training*: KCVA provides vocational training to youth and vulnerable groups, enabling them to acquire skills and become self-sufficient. - *Community Development*: The organization focuses on sustainable development, environmental conservation, and community sensitization to improve living conditions. - *Women's Empowerment*: KCVA runs projects like the "Goats for the Future" program, which provides capital, training, and support to rural women to engage in income-generating activities. - *Education and Healthcare*: The organization supports education and healthcare initiatives, including providing reusable pads to girls in remote villages to promote menstrual hygiene and reduce dropout rates. - Research and Development*: KCV conducts research and develops projects to address poverty and promote sustainable development in the Kisoro District. By working with local communities, volunteers, and international organizations, KCV aims to create long term term solutions to development problems and improve the overall well-being of the community
