The Milwaukee Area Health Education Center (Milwaukee-AHEC) connects students to careers, professionals to communities, and communities to better health. Since 1992, Milwaukee-AHEC has worked to forge collaborative partnerships with health-related employers, community-based organizations, academic institutions, and other sectors to advance community and public health that will impact health outcomes.

Our primary vehicle of engagement is a multilingual cultural wiki designed, populated, and used by the community to help the community satifsfy their evolving community needs. The BASAbali wiki has engaged by nearly 2.5 million to date. The wiki empowerment process is now being replicated in Makassar, Indonesia. BASAbali is a registered nonprofit in the US. Provide homes for women , women rescued from human trafficking and coming out of domestic violence. Refer the residents and others who contact the ministry to community agencies who could possible help them with their needs. Connect the residents to support groups, providing them with the educational tools needed and how to use them. Provide free health screening for the residents of our homes and our community
