The African Dream Initiative gives promising but disadvantaged children the resources to become Africa's future leaders. We provide access to quality education at top schools in Uganda, while providing psycho-social supports, leadership training, and other resources to help students build the skills they need to become leaders and give back to their communities.

To promote empowerment programs for better Health, Education and Livelihoods for disadvantaged populations. ................................................................................................... Here are some key areas where we seek partnership and support: 1. Education for Needy Children: We run programs that provide access to quality education for underprivileged children, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to thrive in their academic pursuits. We provide fees, scholastic materials, uniforms and shoes to the disadvantaged children. We plan to fundraise, get fees and educational materials for needy children dropping out of school over poverty and abandonment. We plan to purchase land for the construction of a primary school for these children. 2. Women and Youth Empowerment: Our organization offers empowerment workshops, financial literacy trainings, and support services to help women and youth in marginalized communities achieve economic independence and self-sustainability. We are planning to establish a vocational training school for children who complete senior four and senior six and are unable to continue with the education over finances. We also plan to scale up our financial literacy training programs and train women in vegetable growing. 3. Environmental Conservation: We are actively involved in conservation efforts, including tree planting, waste management, and sustainable agriculture practices to preserve and protect our environment for future generations. Uganda was named the Pearl of Africa because of the beautiful scenery and climate but the forests and vegetation cover have reduced due to environmental degradation and the temperatures are now raising. We plan to establish nursery beds and plant one million trees in the eight districts of Rwenzori Western Uganda. We are doing this under our Greening Uganda Schools and communities Project. 4. Human Rights Advocacy: PLATFORM for the NEEDY advocates for the rights of vulnerable populations, including refugees, internally displaced persons, and marginalized groups, to ensure their voices are heard and respected. We plan to advance our advocacy to the deeper rural populations and refugees and take there our outreach counselling and training conferences and educate them with live drama episodes. 5. Maternal Health Initiatives: We have ongoing programs focused on improving maternal health outcomes through access to healthcare services, prenatal care, and maternal education. We intend to fundraise for the stunting children in Rwenzori region .Under this project we shall create more awareness using radio drama, social media, TVs, trainings and conferences for local leaders and health workers at all level, establish demonstration vegetable gardens at every household and every school and school debating competitions. We believe that by joining forces with Global Giving that offers visibility and connectivity to organizations with different partners and donors, we can leverage our collective strengths to create a more sustainable and equitable future for communities in Uganda and beyond. Founded in 2006, Share the Care is a leading enterprise youth volunteer service platform and hub organization in China, serving thousands Domestic and foreign enterprises and millions white-collar employees in the FESCO system. Share the Care has been paying attention to and helping vulnerable children for a long time. It is a major actor in the field of educational assistance for rural and urban children with special needs. Its work direction involves four fields, namely rural education, environmental protection, health and sanitation and art. The network of volunteer service projects and public welfare resources covers the whole country. So far, it has launched more than 300 Chinese and foreign enterprises to carry out more than 600 public welfare projects and voluntary service activities in 200 rural schools in seven provinces and cities, involving more than 15.7 million employees of enterprises and volunteers of university students and benefiting nearly 1,300,000 rural teachers and students. The Good Shepherd Agricultural Mission is an independent, non-governmental, social development organization that has been providing support to those in need since 1952. 'The Mission' works in an array of areas, support to lepers, vocational training, education, disaster relief etc. but it's primary focus is the care and protection of orphan children. The Mission works hard to provide a loving home and family for every child in its care working hard to promote family relationships and impart a spirit of responsibility in every member of the organization.

The Bharath Abhyudaya Seva Samithi (BASS), An Indian Progresssive Service Society, is a registered non-governmental Voluntary organization established in 1978. BASS seeks to improve the livelihoods of children, youth, women and vulnerable people include sick people, -those who are at the highest risk due to challenging socio-economic conditions. BASS works to bring relief and opportunity to rural and urban communities negatively impacted by poverty. The activities of the organization seek to promote social justice, equality and empowerment to disadvantaged peoples and victims of disasters in the Guntur district. BASS facilitates many activities including: educational, economic, social, health care and emergency relief and rehabilitation services.

The Parent-Child Home Program’s (PCHP) nationwide network of program sites provides under-resourced families with the necessary tools to ensure their children achieve their greatest potential in school and in life. We assist underserved communities in replicating and expanding our proven school readiness program that supports early parent-child verbal interaction and learning at home.The proven Program effectively bridges the achievement gap through its unique focus on intensive home visiting (twice a week over a two year period) with two and three-year-olds and their parents. Highly trained community based early literacy specialists model reading, play, and conversation activities using books and educational toys that are gifts to the family.

he World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) is an international non-governmental organisation representing and promoting approximately 70 million deaf people's human rights worldwide. The WFD is a federation of deaf organisations from 134 nations; its mission is to promote the human rights of deaf people and full, quality and equal access to all spheres of life, including self-determination, sign language, education, employment and community life. WFD has a consultative status in the United Nations and is a founding member of International Disability Alliance (IDA). At its recent World Congress in Jeju, South Korea, WFD members (136) approved the WFD strategic direction 2023-2030 and Action Plan 2023-2027. Important themes are covered in these 2 documents which strive to ensure that we create access for all deaf people to all ways of life in "a world where deaf people everywhere can sign anywhere" (vision). Furthermore, our mission is to work towards the full realisation of linguistic rights and human rights in all areas of life, with full recognition and implementation of these rights across local, national and international levels. To realise our mission and vision, the following are part of our Action Plan 2023-2027: Building Capacity across the Globe: ensuring increased participation of women, youth and underrepresented communities; provide effective capacity building projects to countries who are not yet members to assist them with creating their own national deaf associations so that they can represent themselves in their countries; Putting Deaf people on the Agenda: the WFD will continue to strive to put deaf human rights at the forefront of all representation internationally, including at the UN; we will effectively promote International Week of Deaf people and be ready to response to deaf people's needs in times of crises, disasters and war. Realising nothing about us without us: the WFD continues to be the leading authority for deaf people and sign languages and has committed to developing resources to assist deaf people raise awareness in their countries. Achieving Sign Language Rights for all: National sign languages are fundamental to achieving deaf people's human rights. We will aim to assist our member states in promoting the legal recognition of signed language in the country and advocate for early childhood language acquisition and inclusive multilingual education policies. Investing in a strong and sustainable organisation: to carry out our mission and vision we need greater investment in our secretariat and regional secretariat, expand our donor base, increase visibility and fundraising activities so that our organisation can carry on its important global work.

Every day, lives are changed by a single, selfless act - the gift of organ donation. Among those waiting for transplants are 2 groups of people: those who die waiting and those who receive the gift of life. Our work raises awareness of the urgent need for organ and tissue donors while helping recipients who have overcome the impossible to live life to the fullest. These individuals have faced life's greatest challenges; they are advocates for the cause but need resources, education and community. Transplant recipients have a unique opportunity to advocate for organ donation and raise awareness. Physical activity plays a crucial role in the recovery and long-term health of recipients. When recipients compete in world events, they demonstrate to the world what can be achieved through the gift of organ donation. Additionally, our programs provide recipients with community, tools, and resources to address the many challenges they face, leading to an increased quality of life. The WTGF promotes amateur sport amongst recipients, living donors and donor families; promoting the study of transplantation; educating the public and raising awareness of the world shortage of donor organs; sharing new knowledge from biological/clinical studies; promotion of mental and moral improvement for recipients, living donors and donor families; fostering international friendship and relations.
