The Opportunity Network is an intensive, six-year program designed to equal the playing field for high-achieving, underserved high school and college students by creating access for them to career opportunities, professional networks and competitive colleges. The Opportunity Network believes influential networks are essential ingredients for success not emphasized in career development programs for youth, so we take an innovative approach by underscoring the power of personal connections and professional relationships as vital complements to skills and experience. Through interaction with executives, intensive networking training, coursework in careers, internships and college counseling, our students dramatically change the course of their futures.

Founded in 2010, The Philadelphia Project is a Christian non-profit organization committed to the holistic development of the neighboring community in partnership with the local church. We seek to accomplish our mission through the creation of a vibrant, engaging, and safe community center as well as providing service opportunities caring for the homes of the elderly, poor, single-parent and those plagued by hardships.

The Butterfly Tree's aim is to improve the lives of vulnerable people living in remote villages in Zambia. To advance the education and improve the facilities in rural schools, giving every child a chance to be educated. To protect the health of patients by developing the rural clinics offering support sevices, medical supplies and equipment. To relieve poverty and improve the living conditions of socially disadvantaged communities teaching them how to become sustainable.

Working with health, community development and hope in the Hidden Himalayas. We work with local communities, government and NGOs in improving and implementing basic health care provision in remote areas, develop and conserve community infrastructures that contribute towards conservation of nature and culture and promote and create income generating opportunities to support the local economy with the aim of enabling sustainable projects, reducing poverty and improving the quality of life.

Fly the Phoenix believes that education, as well as daily food, are basic human rights. In order to combat the imbalances of these rights, we are creating sustainable, 25-year cycle, educational community programs. These are funded by our local income-initiatives, challenges and international donations through our registered charity, Fly The Phoenix.

The Nawaya Network aims to connect promising disadvantaged youth with mentors, businesses, and institutions, to help them pursue skills or passions that would otherwise go unnoticed. We believe that by enabling at-risk youth to pursue their passions, they will be less likely to engage in violence, crime, and drug-use. The Nawaya Network is a new non-governmental, non-discriminative non-profit organization that discovers hidden potential, connects youth to worldwide resources, and empowers future generations. We operate by deriving youth from pre-established NGO partners, and connecting them to local resources (such as classes, workshops, mentorship sessions) provided by partner individuals, businesses, and institutions. So far, 25 youth have been enrolled in our program, with 25 others identified for future enrollment. Founder of The Nawaya Network, Zeina Saab, recently spoke at TedxBeirut. With upcoming February fundraisers in Vienna and Dubai, we plan to expand to the region as soon as resources permit. The Nawaya Network will launch in March 2013 with a unique and interactive online platform that allows users to connect youth with needed resources - all with the click of a button.

The Latin Programme - Via Facilis improves English literacy in underachieving State Primary Schools through the study of Latin and English grammar. The Latin Programme is conscious that "one in six people in the UK struggle with literacy. This means their literacy is below the level expected of an eleven-year-old" (Department for Education, 2003). This underachievement in literacy is particularly evident in the case of disadvantaged children, "In 2007, only 35% of five year olds in the most deprived areas reached the expected level of attainment, compared to 51% of pupils in other areas [] This gap grows throughout school years so that by GCSE levels only 21% of disadvantaged pupils achieved 5+ A*-C GCSEs including English and Maths in 2007 compared to 49% of nonFSM pupils" (Department for Children, Schools and Families, 2009). As a result The Latin Programme is committed to finding innovative ways to help State Primary School children achieve a better performance in literacy and improve their life prospects. We concentrate on the link between literacy levels and future prospects because individuals with good literacy skills "are more likely to have higher self-esteem, better health, better jobs and higher wages than those with poor literacy skills." Feed The World's mission is to empower poor smallholder farm families to feed themselves and provide for the future through sustainable farming. Guiding Principles - Seeds of Dignity and Hope are planted in the hearts of our smallholder farm families as they work together to provide for themselves and build a better future. Transparency & Accountability means that we will do exactly what we promise to do in the communities we serve and that we will be open and honest with our donors in communicating how funds are being used. Lasting Self Reliance is achieved as families obtain sufficient knowledge and education, manage resources wisely, and prepare for the future so that they will continue to thrive after our support ends. Sustainable Farming is practiced by smallholder farm families as they plan, plant, and harvest food for themselves and their livestock, while building human capacity to recognize and enhance the efficient use of their natural resources. Nutrition & Income are the core benefits to smallholder farm families as they grow and produce foodstuffs that provide for a nutritionally balanced diet on an economically sustainable basis. Scientifically Proven Methodology guides the implementation of agricultural best practices with our smallholder farm families and on our demonstration farms. We also support further scientific research through partnerships with universities, governments, and other non-governmental organizations (NGO's). Mutual Respect is the goal of our in-country agronomists, nutritionists, and animal scientists as they interact with smallholder farm families, seeking to understand the "why" behind traditional practices, and always exploring new possibilities. Training & Education in sustainable farming, nutrition, food preparation, and hygiene are key to ensuring that lasting self reliance is achieved by smallholder farm families. Honoring Culture means that our programs work within the local cultural framework to empower and educate smallholder farm families without imposing an outside culture on them. Family Focus involves both women and men in all aspects of decision making, training, and education; and keeps children and parents united and working together on their land. Feeding the Spirit means that while Feed the World does not identify itself with one particular religion or belief system, we honor the spirituality of all human beings and serve all program participants irrespective of their beliefs or social station. Pay It Forward means that we expect our smallholder farm families to pass on their seeds, stock, and knowledge to other families in need once they have successfully provided for themselves.

The Ideas Partnership harnesses the power of volunteers to tackle challenges in education, cultural heritage and the environment in Kosovo and the region. Many of our projects work particularly with the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities

The Forgiveness Project works to build understanding and give people the opportunity to move forward from trauma and conflict, enabling both personal and societal transformation.
