The Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. We have been mandated by Congress with the following three missions; Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs and Emergency Services. Our wing is comprised of many committed and dedicated volunteers who have truly earned the title "Unpaid Professionals". Our organization is community based and provides numerous opportunities for anyone to serve. Our members are involved with search and rescue, working at emergency shelters, emergency communications, aerial photography and assisting other organizations with aerospace education, among other duties. Malaika’s mission is to empower Congolese girls and their communities through education and health programs. The grassroots non-profit operates in the village of Kalebuka, in the Southeastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
