Global Grassroots is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to catalyze women and girls as leaders of conscious social change in their communities. Global Grassroots' work is guided by four core values that form our theory of change: 1. Deepening personal consciousness and contributing towards the common good are both essential to social change. 2. One of the most effective levers of social change is a woman with the capability, resources, power, courage and inner commitment to initiate positive change for herself and others. 3. Sustaining and accelerating conscious social change requires investment in supporting civil society architecture. 4. Mind-body trauma healing plus the opportunity for women to form groups and create community-based organizations to advance social change represents the most effective and holistic approach towards individual and community healing during post-conflict reconstruction. Our long-term vision is that vulnerable women will have the capacity and resources to lead conscious social change, sustained by their own communities.

Our mission is to develop and support people in need, in particular children and women in poor countries like Nepal and people in India living below poverty line. We develop our project strategies on our own together with local partners. In India e.g. we set in place a comprehensive, focused and tailored program in order to transform the society. The strategy is focused on children and women. For children we offer child emergency services, child care services and Skill Development and a Women empowerment program including Skill Development. This unique strategy perfectly fits together and will have a significant impact on the people in this area. We have a clear view on what is achievable and we only start programs with a high probability of success. Less is more is one of our principle. We do not want to run projects which are too big and only a few ones. Our aim is to run all projects as long-term projects, i.e. at least 25+ years.

QueenB is a bilingual educational-technological nonprofit organization founded in 2016 to bridgeQueenB is a non-profit organization aimed at increasing the representation of Israeli women in the tech industry. The Israeli tech industry is well recognized for its exceptional achievements and places Israel at the forefront of today's technological innovators, but only 20% of tech employees in Israel are women. QueenB was founded by Computer Science students at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, who were disheartened by the low number of women enrolled in the Computer Science major, and decided to actively make a difference. We offer weekly coding classes for teenage girls after school. The sessions combine social activities, and are available in Hebrew and Arabic, in more than 20 different locations across Israel. Our classes require no prior experience or special interest in tech, and our instructors are Computer Science university students, who receive a scholarship for their mentorship. As students learn to code with us in junior high, we encourage them to take on Computer Science as a major in high school.

Our mission is to empower women and youths, especially adolescent girls, to have expanded personal choices, explore their potentials, and control their future so that we can close gender gaps and challenge actions which stunt girls' development in the communities where we operate. Bosana Foundation is a respected international advocacy organization dedicated to empowering and improving the economic and social well being of marginalized population through the delivery of targeted education, scholarships and livelihood development programs.We focus on education because the youth of today are the decision makers of tomorrow. We also work with women because they such integral and vital parts of both family and community. The Bosana Foundation believes that through our various projects, we are empowering and educating women and youth so that history does not repeat itself and that Bosnia and Herzegovina can once again be a country which boasts peaceful multi-ethnic and multi-cultural traditions.

In response to the near-complete devastation of the Yezidi people by ISIS in 2014, Free Yezidi Foundation has been providing spaces for Yezidi refugees — mostly women and children — to get psychological care and develop skills needed to re-enter society. To kick off 2019, a $100k match grant was offered by Semnani Family Foundation (together with 5th Element Group and Solver). Thanks to people like you, we unlocked 100% of the match grant by March 31, 2019! This spring, we're working to continue the momentum by raising additional support for these women and girls who have been left so vulnerable. Please join with us!
