The Women Inspiration Development Center (WIDC) is an initiative designed to create a safe place for Nigerian women and girls in challenging life circumstances to envision and create new possibilities for their lives, families and communities. WIDC is committed to advancing women's right and creating a refuge for victims of gender based violence and disenfranchised women and girls. Through agency-based empowerment, WIDC supports these women and girls as they improve their health, economic well-being and social status, leading fulfilling lives free of violence. We believe in the inherent potential and ability of every woman to overcome obstacles, take control of her life, emerge confident and strong, and make meaningful contributions to her society. WIDC was formed in 2009 by Busayo Obisakin along with a group of women friends and colleagues. Initially they called themselves Vigilantes against Violence and set out to curb the violence against women and girls through a variety of services and activities they offered throughout the local community. After a short while, it became clear that the name needed to change to reflect the widening scope of the work done by the group to help protect and improve the lives of women in the community. The group officially became registered as an organization, Women Inspiration Development Center, in 2010. Mission: To improve the health, economic, and social status of Nigerian women and girls in order to empower them to lead fulfilling lives free of violence. Vision: We envision a Nigeria where women and girls are empowered and they create new possibilities for themselves without fear or intimidation.
Rak'n'Roll Foundation. Wygraj Zycie! was established in 2009 as a grassroots initiative of oncology patients. From the very beginning, its goal was to change the way people with cancer and the disease itself are perceived. This change was necessary to introduce new solutions to patient care that allow them to be treated with dignity and live well and joyfully despite their illness. The aim of the Foundation is to conduct comprehensive ongoing and project activities for people affected by cancer and their families, including disabled people and their families, in the field of health protection and promotion, as well as to undertake projects aimed at increasing public awareness of cancer. The Foundation conducts free public benefit activities in the field of: Conducting information activities, including an online database with information useful for people affected by cancer and their families, including disabled people and their families; Health protection and promotion in the field of oncology and disability; Representing the interests of oncological and disabled patients; Actions to improve the availability and standards of treatment of cancer and disabilities; Supporting diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation activities in the field of oncology and disability; Organizing and conducting social and educational campaigns, including information and preventive campaigns; Organizing and conducting recreation for children and adolescents affected by cancer and disabled people, including integration and rehabilitation trips; Conducting charitable activities for sick people and their families as well as disabled people and their families, also after the death of the sick person; Organizing support groups for sick people and their families; Promotion of employment and professional activation of people affected by cancer and disabled people who are unemployed; Engaging famous people, representatives of the media and creative circles to implement or promote the Foundation's statutory goals; Supporting and organizing volunteering.

It is a Mozambican NGO that started its activities in 1997 and was officially recognized in 2004. It is one of the largest Mozambican NGO's with 167 employees. Esmabama's primary goal is to improve the living conditions of people living in the southern part of the Sofala province, by implementing educational, health and income generation projects/activities. In 2006, Esmabama co-founded the Distance Learning Courses of the Catholic University of Beira. It also implements projects supported by several donors, including: EU, GIZ, ADA, PEPFAR. Esmabama reaches populations of about 500.000 people, being 8.000 of them students and 1.700 poor children living at the boarding schools located at the 4 localities (Estaquinha, Mangunde, Barada and Machanga), run by the Association.

The Contributor is a nonprofit, social enterprise in Nashville that creates economic opportunity with dignity by investing in people experiencing homelessness and poverty. We accomplish this mission by printing a street publication that:Provides over 300 homeless and formerly homeless vendors with a pathway to earn income;Builds community between vendors and customers;Provides a diversity of perspectives and information on the condition of homelessness, highlighting the unique contributions of homeless and formerly homeless individuals. We are often the first point of contact in Nashville's Continuum of Care for many people experiencing homelessness and we connect our vendors to other valuable services for health care and housing. Over 70% of our 6-month tenured vendors have obtained housing.

Our activities include high and low ropes challenges, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, survival skills, camping, hiking, and wetlands ecology. We provide comprehensive, ongoing programming throughout the school year to provide profound opportunities with measurable impact in the areas of social and emotional skill development, improved communication, improved physical health and environmental awareness, and increased academic achievement.
