Indigenous Health Solutions is a trans-disciplinary collective of pioneers driven by a passion for service to the Earth, and the poorest and most remote communities on it. Through the lens of planetary health, where shifts in natural systems are prioritized in examination of human health, experts in conservation, health, anthropology, and business come together with those in need to craft and implement culturally informed and community led solutions for development. Our programs are built upon the foundational principle that development must be indigenous, that is, planned in partnership with those in need and rooted in the place of delivery, reflecting practical awareness of the interconnection between health, conservation, livelihood, and education.

SOS MEDITERRANEE is an international humanitarian and maritime organization dedicated to saving lives at sea founded in 2015 in response to the escalating humanitarian crisis in the Central Mediterranean - one of the world's deadliest migration routes. Our mission is urgent and clear: to conduct life-saving search and rescue operations at sea, providing immediate relief to those in distress and ensuring their safety, health, and protection until they reach a place of safety. Since 2016, reflecting our commitment to humanity and solidarity, we have rescued more than 41,000 people from over 50 countries - more than 10,000 of whom were children.

The Charity's objects ('the objects') are 1) To relieve persons in India suffering from poverty, sickness and distress in particular but not exclusively for victims of the sex trade and their children. 2) To advance for public benefit the education of the inhabitants of India. 3) To prevent or relieve poverty or financial hardship in India by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient. 4) To provide relief to survivors of human trafficking through providing or assisting in the provision of medical treatment, advice on and access to housing provision and financial and legal support.

Our mission is to discover talented youths with core competencies required by the present knowledge and information based societies through the following to help solve the problems that humankind faced and eventually make the world a better place. 1. International science, technology, engineering, arts, and math(STEAM) fairs with science forums for youths 2. Motivating talented youths for scientific research through relevant education 3. Cultivation of science research abilities and development of creativity in youths 4. Forming STEAM communities of talented people and experts who possess combined knowledge of humanities, sociology, and science technology with convergent thinking.

Girl Determined is a leadership project designed to assist girls ages 12-17 to avoid the pitfalls of trafficking, dangerous labor and other forms of violence, by facilitating girls' recognition of their personal and group potential. Because of our belief in girls as potential change-agents in their households, communities and nations, our program aims to increase girls' ability to make strategic life-decisions, generate choices and exercise bargaining power. This real empowerment creates opportunities for girls to better cope with their difficulties, envision alternatives and take leadership into their own hands. The underlying premise of Girl Determined work is that educating, connecting, supporting and fostering the development of personal and group voice amongst marginalized adolescent girls will derail cycles of abuse, poverty and neglect. Not only is adolescence a period when girls are gaining abstract thinking skills and sexual awareness, it is a time when they are all too quickly being pressured to take on adult responsibility and this is particularly for girls, resulting in lost growth and development opportunities. The rights of girls in Burma is often regarded as being equal to that of boys and girls rights, in general, is not thought of as a serious issue in the country, despite the fact that the sexual exploitation and the trafficking of young girls to China for forced marriage, for example, continues to increase, or that the so-called "un-wrapping" of girls (selling young, virgin girls into prostitution) continues to take place on the outskirts of Burma's most prosperous cities-Rangoon and Mandalay. This apathy, social acceptance and tolerance of rights violations against girls smacks of an underlying gender discrimination: a discrimination which forces more girls to drop out of school so their male siblings can continue; compels girls to engage in child labour, to support their families income or, more accurately, the short, often paltry economic interests of their parents/household at the expense of the best interest of the child. Girl Determined's work empowers girls to achieve that which is in their own best interest while working structurally to establish mechanisms for greater awareness of the specific needs of adolescent girls, their protection and increasing their life-opportunities. Girl Determined employs a three-pronged strategic approach: 1. Individual transformation - Adolescent girls will go through some form of personal transformation lending to a change in a girl's understanding of personal power and rights. Shifts will include reduction of shame and fear regarding violence, ability to identify and express situations of discrimination, value of self and education, motivation and skill to actively make decisions about ones future. 2. Network mobilization - Girls will develop a sense of connectedness with girls from across the country through their shared experiences and complex differences. By bringing girls together across space, through 'by-girls, for-girls' media projects, Girls' Forum and our Girls Advisory Board, girls will mobilize as defenders and actors. This wide network also creates a structure through which other programs could potentially be realized. 3. Research and Advocacy - Evidence-based research will assist Girl Determined in bringing increased attention to the plight and power of the girl child in Burma. We will focus research and related advocacy domestically, pushing governmental and non-governmental agencies to recognize the specific needs of girls in their programming.

The Juan Pablo Gutierrez Caceres Foundation has been working since 2007 supporting Colombian graduate students that do not have the economic resources to pursue postgraduate studies. So far, 346 scholarships have been awarded to students that are positively transforming their personal, academic and working lives and supporting the development of their communities.The candidates' profile has been students interested in critical areas for Colombia's development, leadership and with limited economic resources to pursue postgraduate studies. A successful process starts with the selection of the right candidates where the Foundation ensures that the resources obtained by donations are properly used. We also have procedures and structures that follow the performance of students. We ensure that each scholarship awarded ends with a successful degree. IRODA exists to advocate for the rights and interests of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and endeavors to ensure that they have access to quality services appropriate for their unique needs. IRODA strives towards seeing persons with ASD in Tajikistan being treated with dignity and respect, as valued members within society. IRODA is doing this by: raising awareness of ASD and increasing understanding, amongst both the medical and educational professions and the general public, of the needs of children with ASD and their families. working with the government and other non-governmental organizations to provide appropriate services for children with ASD providing training on ASD in a range of formats and settings lobbying and providing information to legislators IRODA is characterized by the following key values: IRODA was founded by parents and continues to be a parent driven organization that seeks to partner with professionals in the ASD field to see that the needs of all people with ASD are realized and met The involvement of families in all aspects of their child's learning and development is key to sustainable and effective progress. Therefore a strong emphasis is placed on training and family centered service provision. IRODA seeks to draw on knowledge and information provided through a range of interventions developed for working with children with ASD, and uses an eclectic approach rather than advocating for one particular model of intervention The rights of all people to be included as valued members of society drives IRODA to advocate for both legislation and community attitudes that will support people with ASD to be fully included within their local communities. IRODA aims for all it's activities to be community based and seeks to cooperate with individuals and organizations in local communities.

"Women and their Bodies" is a non-profit organization working to promote comprehensive social change in the perceptions of Israeli women and girls regarding their health. Established in 2005, the organization has hundreds of professional volunteers from the fields of medicine, education, and healthcare. WTB is a women's organization that works for women, their health and quality of life, by raising awareness for women's health rights, and the basic belief that women are the source of authority on their own bodies. Our approach is based on the principles of the World Health Organization (WHO), which defines health as a combination of social, emotional and financial aspects that influence mental and physical wellness, and quality of life.
