FOUNDATION "EUROPEAN FUND FOR DEVELOPMENT OF POLISH VILLAGES - COUNTERPART FUND" is a non-profit organization that actively supports the socio-economic development of local communities in rural areas and helps transform the image of the Polish countryside. EFRWP focuses on supporting investments in technical infrastructure, the development of local enterprises, and the implementation of a wide range of educational and social initiatives and projects targeted at residents of rural areas in Poland and abroad. The Mission of the Fund is to ensure positive changes for creating an encouraging environment for disclosure of the full potential of every child in Ukraine. Main goal: development and implementation of innovations into social work, community mobilization and development of the partnership to improve the living conditions of children and families. The main objectives of the Fund: - to support the implementation of national, regional, local and international programmes, projects or activities aimed at developing and introducing innovative approaches in social work, mobilization of communities and development of partnerships for well-being of children, young people and families in Ukraine; - to protect of the rights of children and young people, to support and supervise social changes aimed at improving the situations of children, young people and families in Ukraine; - to support reforms of the system of social services for children, young people and families in communities in the context of the reform of the local self-government and decentralization; - to assist in the intensification and development of public initiatives aimed at improving the situations of children, young people and families in territorial communities; - to promote new approaches in health care; - to assist in improving the professional skills of social work specialists in educational, pedagogical, social and psychological work; - to provide charitable aid (including humanitarian aid) for children, young people and families in difficult circumstances.

Our mission: We are active citizens of Ukraine that promote socially responsible society, realizing charitable and social projects. The main goal of the Foundation is selfless charity work in the public interest or certain categories of citizens, which is aimed at providing moral, material and financial assistance to the beneficiaries according to defined areas of activity.

VISION: To see medical, literacy, education, agricultural, water and sanitation programmes established in countries as needed using HADA as the aid organisation. AIMS: HADA works in partnership with communities throughout the world to provide compassion, relief, training and development. OBJECTIVES: The objects for which the association is established are - To provide direct relief to people who are experiencing poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, destitution and/or helplessness of such seriousness as would arouse pity or compassion in the community. As a means of achieving this, the organisation will undertake the following activities: 2.1. To provide administrative and logistical support to new and existing projects. 2.2. To provide skills and training with the object of achieving autonomy for the projects. 2.3. To provide and support plans for the development of communities in ways which will improve their quality of life. 2.4. To do such other things of a social, community or benevolent nature as will assist in the creation of a better society. 2.5. To integrate all projects as part of the local community.

The Marfan Trust raises funds to support medical research so that more is know about Marfan syndrome and its management. The results of our internationally recognised research enables doctors and surgeons to provide better treatment for patients in the short and long term.

Fly the Phoenix believes that education, as well as daily food, are basic human rights. In order to combat the imbalances of these rights, we are creating sustainable, 25-year cycle, educational community programs. These are funded by our local income-initiatives, challenges and international donations through our registered charity, Fly The Phoenix.

The Advocacy Project - A Voice for the Voiceless The Advocacy Project (AP) helps marginalized communities around the world take action against the root causes of their disempowerment in a way that benefits society as a whole and produces social change. To do this, we partner with community-based advocates who represent these communities and share their problems. Our support for partners is innovative and effective. First, we deploy Peace Fellows (experienced graduate students) to help partners tell their story, launch campaigns, and strengthen their organization: we have deployed 274 Peace Fellows since 2003, and in the process given our Fellows a unique experience. Second, we help partners to raise funds and manage their campaigns: we have raised over $2.5 million for partners, and are currently seeking funds through Global Giving for exciting projects in Nepal, Vietnam and Uganda. Third, we promote the work of partners internationally, using new methods of story-telling such as advocacy quilting: over 300 women have produced embroidered panels for our quilts, which have been shown throughout North America and Europe. Our mission is to develop new ideas and implement new solutions to address the short and long-term threats to elephant survival, providing them a new future free of cruelty and death at the hands of humans. Our unique approach of developing communities that will end poaching and illegal trafficking, implementing humane economies within host countries and by creating non-invasive research facilities, we will bring transformational change to this epic struggle while bettering the lives of the indigenous population and the host government. The Elephant Project will create self-sustaining and self-funding sanctuaries and communities reducing the need to constantly fundraise for the project. This project is designed to be a model that can be used all over the world to protect endangered species, better the economies of the host country, provide skills training, jobs, healthcare and educational opportunities for the indigenous population.

Feed The World's mission is to empower poor smallholder farm families to feed themselves and provide for the future through sustainable farming. Guiding Principles - Seeds of Dignity and Hope are planted in the hearts of our smallholder farm families as they work together to provide for themselves and build a better future. Transparency & Accountability means that we will do exactly what we promise to do in the communities we serve and that we will be open and honest with our donors in communicating how funds are being used. Lasting Self Reliance is achieved as families obtain sufficient knowledge and education, manage resources wisely, and prepare for the future so that they will continue to thrive after our support ends. Sustainable Farming is practiced by smallholder farm families as they plan, plant, and harvest food for themselves and their livestock, while building human capacity to recognize and enhance the efficient use of their natural resources. Nutrition & Income are the core benefits to smallholder farm families as they grow and produce foodstuffs that provide for a nutritionally balanced diet on an economically sustainable basis. Scientifically Proven Methodology guides the implementation of agricultural best practices with our smallholder farm families and on our demonstration farms. We also support further scientific research through partnerships with universities, governments, and other non-governmental organizations (NGO's). Mutual Respect is the goal of our in-country agronomists, nutritionists, and animal scientists as they interact with smallholder farm families, seeking to understand the "why" behind traditional practices, and always exploring new possibilities. Training & Education in sustainable farming, nutrition, food preparation, and hygiene are key to ensuring that lasting self reliance is achieved by smallholder farm families. Honoring Culture means that our programs work within the local cultural framework to empower and educate smallholder farm families without imposing an outside culture on them. Family Focus involves both women and men in all aspects of decision making, training, and education; and keeps children and parents united and working together on their land. Feeding the Spirit means that while Feed the World does not identify itself with one particular religion or belief system, we honor the spirituality of all human beings and serve all program participants irrespective of their beliefs or social station. Pay It Forward means that we expect our smallholder farm families to pass on their seeds, stock, and knowledge to other families in need once they have successfully provided for themselves.

Earth Trust works to give tools to tribals and villagers to farm their land in a sustainable way, to develop responsibility for Primary Health solutions with traditional answers and to give rural children inspiration, skills & passion for revitalising their communities & land.
