The Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights promotes the physical rehabilitation, mental well-being and social reintegration of victims and their family members by providing them with free-of-charge medical treatment, psycho-therapeutic support and socio-legal counseling. In addition, we seek to protect survivors of past human rights abuses and prevent future attacks of violence through political advocacy, human rights education, and public awareness-raising programs. The core values guiding our work are expressed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We believe in the inherent dignity of the human person and seek to promote respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms laid out in the Universal Declaration. We help survivors of human rights abuses regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity or spiritual leanings. In 2005, we started our activities in the multi-ethnic city of Kirkuk, where we opened the first rehabilitation clinic for victims of torture in Iraq. Today we have a total of nine clinics throughout Kurdistan-Iraq where more than 19,000 traumatized men, women and children have received our services. Each year, The Jiyan Foundation assists more than 6,000 victims of human rights violations. On average 50% of those who seek our help are female adults, while 30% are children and adolescents.
Our mission is to protect lives and human rights of North Korean people. We strive to achieve our goal through assistance to North Korean refugees hiding in third countries and continue to assist them with their re-settlement and education in South Korea. Our ultimate goal is to support a development of a generation of successful young North Koreans who will drive toward peaceful re-unification of the two countries and will become a bridge between North and South, if the two countries unify. In supporting human rights improvements in the country, we focus on providing information about the situation inside and encouraging international community to raise their voice against the abuses.
MADRE's mission is to advance women's human rights by meeting urgent needs in communities and building lasting solutions to the crises women face. MADRE works towards a world in which all people enjoy the fullest range of individual and collective human rights; in which resources are shared equitably and sustainably; in which women participate effectively in all aspects of society; and in which people have a meaningful say in policies that affect their lives. Our mission is to develop and support people in need, in particular children and women in poor countries like Nepal and people in India living below poverty line. We develop our project strategies on our own together with local partners. In India e.g. we set in place a comprehensive, focused and tailored program in order to transform the society. The strategy is focused on children and women. For children we offer child emergency services, child care services and Skill Development and a Women empowerment program including Skill Development. This unique strategy perfectly fits together and will have a significant impact on the people in this area. We have a clear view on what is achievable and we only start programs with a high probability of success. Less is more is one of our principle. We do not want to run projects which are too big and only a few ones. Our aim is to run all projects as long-term projects, i.e. at least 25+ years.

Community of children rights has laid it's foundation with the aim of providing children hailing from deserving and ultra poor back grounds with all the basic rights and facilities needed to help them become productive members of the society and to remove any sort of sense of deprivation prevailing among that specific class of the society that would eventually make them confident of their capabilities and encourage them towards being useful and fertile. Unfortunately these deserving and poor children have to face an unimaginably high number of issues and constraints during their childhood that affects their personalities and prolificacy. Our vision is to arrange equal rights of these children in whatever aspect and regard required, be it healthcare, education equality and protection disabilities or whatever.we believe every single child is like a stone that finally fits in its very designated place within the building that constitutes is nation . A good quality stone always strengthens the building and enhances its life likewise a strong and an educated kid becomes a responsible productive and a useful citizen. The core vision of CCR is to see every kid in this country having the same and equal rights,In every regard, and this is what CCR is striving to achieve. We wish to see a healthy younger generation, having all the basic facilities and rights in their lives getting quality education that ensures a secure them instead of seeing them inundated in issues and problems or wasting their time working as child laborers that's likely to lead them nowhere, but the wilderness of ignorance and apathy towards being productive.
