Our goal is to inspire intelligent use of the earth's natural resources and empower individuals to become leaders in biosphere stewardship. The problem - The health of our biosphere – our life support system – is decreasing due to climate change and the needs associated with a growing human population. Our efforts are strategic - We address this global challenge by working locally with island peoples whose livelihood is most affected by sweeping ecological changes. Our projects are collaborative - We learn from individuals about their environment while empowering them to become active advocates, practitioners, and leaders in their communities.

“Geoscientists for our Future” The CSPG Educational Trust Fund (ETF) is a Registered Charity with the Canada Revenue Agency that raises money for an endowment fund to support programs that advance petroleum geoscientific education. The slogan “Geoscientists for our Future” represents the purpose of the ETF: ensuring that there are well-educated and skilled petroleum geoscientists for the future.

For almost 30 years The Haven has offered programs for personal and professional growth and development.People leave The Haven with skills to be fully alive, have healthy relationships and communicate effectively. Our programs address life issues including anxiety, anger, depression, sexuality and addictions.The Haven is a not for profit charitable organization and is located on beautiful Gabriola Island, BC, Canada.

Growth comes from journeying with those we serve, not in doing for them. 4. The importance of EDUCATION as the key to change. Education takes many forms. Those who are malnourished most of their lives often have special needs; secondary school, university, apprenticeships, as well as special education for severe learning disabilities such as deafness and blindness are all strategies we pursue.

PEDAL’s programs include: • Education and training to ride and repair bicycles • Refurbishing, reusing and recycling bicycles and accessories • Free bikes for people in need • Reaching out to youth, women and marginalized communities • Facilitating pedal powered lifestyles PEDAL’s operations in Vancouver include: • Our Community Bikes! - 3283 Main St – A community bike centre where people repair their own bicycles, bicycle recycling services and training programs • Pedal Depot - 1830 Ontario St – Bicycle recycling services and training programs • Training classes at various local schools.

eatART is an art-lab. We investigate energy use by creating audacious, improbable new media art projects. We wish improve lives with the knowledge and wealth of aesthetic principals espoused by energy awareness.

While there is no replacement for personalized, professional medical advice, Fuck Cancer’s goal is to provide educational resources that are reliable, relatable, and easy to understand. We want to create a community that allows people to connect, share, and communicate in a safe space online. We want to make tangible improvements in our ability to detect and treat cancer early — and to improve people’s lives in the process.

Through research, publications, "Leaders in Justice" workshops, seminars, art exhibitions, festivals, internships and training, we advance the public's understanding of human rights. We are all about educating and empowering the public to promote Human rights for all people.
