Ireland Park is the principle memorial to the Irish famine experience in Toronto. During the summer of 1847, 38,000 Irish famine immigrants arrived in Toronto when the city's population was only 20,000. The Park will speak to the success of the Irish community in overcoming great adversity and acknowledges their significant contribution to the growth and development of Canada. It will stand as a beacon of hope to immigrants everywhere and will permanently change the perception and awareness of the Irish community in Canada as well as forging lasting relationships between both countries.

We work with a broad range of stakeholders to improve cooperation for more effective water protection - including monitoring, data sharing, outreach, education, and research. We are in the process of re-designing Water Connections, an online portal to connect Canada's water community, in order to better serve its users. www.waterconnect.ca will allow everyone to share data, experiences, best practices, templates, news, and events about their own water activities, and will generate engagement within communities for water protection. Other important initiatives include educating shoreline owners and recreational water users how to best conserve the health of lakes and rivers. Our location is also home to an impressive demonstration site for a zero discharge wastewater garden!

The Arkana Alliance is committed to raising awareness about the current environmental and social crises in the Amazon; supporting the creation, connection and strengthening of strategic networks and regional and community-based alliances; and inspiring positive change at local, national and international levels to protect and preserve the people, environment, and ancient traditions of the Amazon Rainforest.

Manitoba 4-H Council is a non-profit organization which manages provincial wide 4-H events and activities, awards scholarships for post-secondary education and offers national and international travel opportunities. Supporting 4-H can connect you with Manitoba's 2,600 members and 1,200 volunteer leaders.

Entrepreneurs du Monde, founded in 1998, is a French public interest association which works with populations in developing countries. The organisation helps thousands of women and men living in extremely difficult circumstances to improve their living conditions, by supporting their own entrepreneurial ventures and giving them access to products which can bring significant health, economic and environmental benefits. Entrepreneurs du Monde helps these people create the conditions they need to become successful, and in turn make economic and social progress.

Éco de la Pointe-aux-Prairies est un organisme sans but lucratif à vocation environnementale, possédant le statut d’œuvre de charité enregistré. Promoteur du programme Éco-quartier de la Ville de Montréal, l’Éco de la Pointe-aux-Prairies met en œuvre différentes stratégies de sensibilisation et de mobilisation pour optimiser la participation de la population aux différents programmes «Verts».

Project Hope is a volunteer based Canadian charity. We support children denied access to basic services that every child needs in order to develop into healthy and well-balanced individual. We provide educational and recreational activities, medical and humanitarian relief and practical training that can empower them with hope and skills for the future. We are currently working in Palestine, a nation where the majority of the population is age 18 or under and living under harsh conditions, making our work all the more important.

ECRCAA provides resources and leadership so the people of Elmwood can work together in building a stronger and safer community, making it a more desirable place to live, work, and raise a family. We will accomplish this by: 1) Developing programs to meet the changing needs of the people in our community. 2) Connecting people, ideas and resources.

Columbia Gorge Earth Center - DBA Gorge Owned (GO!) is a member-supported organization helping people invest in a strong local economy, healthy environment and vibrant community in the Columbia River Gorge. We believe that connecting people to information and resources will lead to citizen empowerment, driving community investment, engagement and positive change.

The Get Growing Foundation is a 501c3 creating gardens, educational programming and year-round outreach to the public, with a particular focus on today's youth. In collaboration with the Chicago Flower & Garden Show®, GGF raises awareness and funding for hands-on programs specifically designed to cultivate understanding and provide practical advice in the areas of horticulture, gardening and conservation. The Get Growing Foundation is the educational programming and outreach partner of the Chicago Flower & Garden Show® and leads the way in creating gardens, workshops, seminars and year-round programming that not only educates, but inspires and motivates the next generation of gardeners. Gardening connects us to our world, from our food to our neighbors to our planet as a whole. We’re here to help foster that connection and encourage people of all ages to be a part of Chicago’s thriving horticultural legacy.

LA Compost restores lost connections to the soil and one another. Cooperatively with a diverse network of partners within LA County, LA Compost co-creates spaces for local compost access and engagement, restorative practices, and community empowerment. We support a healthy transition where food is never wasted, but returned to the soil for the next cycle of life.
