Save Oswit Canyon, Inc’s original mission was to save a single canyon in Palm Springs, CA. Now that that mission has been completed (2019) we’ve expanded our scope to become a local land trust (DBA: Oswit Land Trust). Our new mission is to prevent development of environmentally sensitive open market parcels in and around Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley and adjacent areas.

The York Land Trust is a nonprofit, member-supported organization dedicated to conserving and protecting lands of ecological, historic, scenic, agricultural, or educational significance in the greater York, Maine area for the benefit of all.

With the assistance from the community and countless volunteers, the Trust has build a network of protected places. It blends land preservation, stewardship, member engagement, education of natural and historic resources into our mission.

Kennebunk Land Trust's mission is to acquire and/or receive parcels of land, easements and funds in order to preserve and protect the natural areas and character of the Kennebunk/Arundel region. Our mission includes promoting conservation and related educational efforts, and collaboration with like-minded organizations.

The Historic Quarry and Forest was the result of an extraordinary community fund-raising campaign to save a 300+ acre parcel of primarily wooded land from industrial development. To prevent detrimental impact on the site and the community, local citizens donated money to enable the Becket Land Trust to purchase the property and open the site to the public for recreational enjoyment.

The mission of the Chesapeake Bay Trust is to promote increased public awareness and public participation in the restoration and protection of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributary rivers and streams. They work to support our mission of increased stewardship through grant programs, special initiatives, and partnerships that support environmental education, on-the-ground restoration, and community engagement activities.
