The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that was established in 2022. Its mission is to is to enhance, beautify, protect, and clean greater Misquamicut Beach and surrounding areas and any other lawful purpose of a non-profit corporation in Rhode Island. Because of its 501(c)(3) status the foundation can accept donations and be eligible for many grants to help make our favorite place in the world, better than ever.

The Canadian Rugby Foundation operates independently of, but cooperatively with, Rugby Canada. The Foundation is a non-profit organization governed by a Board consisting of directors appointed by the Foundation from donating members, and from Rugby Canada. The Canadian Rugby Foundation is a Canadian Not-for-Profit Corporation incorporated under the Canada Corporations Act, registered with the Canada Revenue Agency as a public foundation. The Canadian Rugby Foundation is required by law to distribute a percentage of its assets annually.

The Squamish Community Foundation is an independent, charitable organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life for the community members of Squamish. The foundation was created in 2003 to meet the needs of our growing community through the establishment of a locally-based long term institution. We manage funds given to us by donors in our community and distribute the income from those endowed funds to local registered charities for community projects. Squamish Community Foundation belongs to the Community Foundations of Canada, a group of 165 community foundations across Canada. The Squamish Community Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors which is made up of community leaders who are Squamish residents and whose carried backgrounds are intended to be representative of Squamish’s diversity.

Douglas College Foundation was incorporated in 1985 with a principal mandate to raise money for student aid. Through the generosity and support of our donors, the Foundation assists up to 2,000 students annually through bursaries, awards and scholarships. By removing financial barriers, the Foundation is able to help students reach their educational goals.

The Grand Bend Community Foundation, a member of Communities Foundations of Canada,supports a wide variety of organizations, ranging from schools, local recreation, children's programs, arts & culture, the environment,the Health Centre, local facilities and seniors projects. The Foundation has distributed nearly $900,000 since it was founded in 2001.

The Sudbury Community Foundation is an independent public foundation and registered charity. The Foundation has been a gateway to the community since 1996, enabling donors to create philanthropic legacies that will benefit Sudbury and its people both now and in the future. The Foundation's unique combination of grant-making expertise, knowledge of community needs, professional financial and fund management expertise, and knowledge of donor philanthropy, provides donors with higher impact for every dollar donated. Fort Edmonton Foundation is the charitable organization charged with completing Fort Edmonton Park in Edmonton, Alberta. Since 1969 the Foundation has raised approximately $20 million in cash and in-kind contributions toward the establishment of over 80 structures within the Park. A volunteer Board of Directors runs the Foundation. The Foundation has two (2) paid employees, and works closely with Fort Edmonton Park to both complete the Park and implement operational practices (i.e. interpretation).

The Fort York Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation with a mandate to receive and manage funds to preserve and enhance Fort York National Historic Site in perpetuity. (Charitable #83248 2566 RR0001). The Foundation recognizes the symbolic and historic significance of this authentic War of 1812 site to the story of Canada. The Foundation is independent of the City of Toronto, which owns and operates Fort York.

The Hamilton Conservation Foundation was founded as a registered charity in 1976. The charitable number is 859975617 RR0001. The Foundation exists to raise support and funding for the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA)and has done so for more than 36 years. The HCA is legislated under the Ontario Conservations Authorities’ Act, 1946 and charged with the duty of managing renewable natural resources on a watershed basis. The Foundation raises capital and endowment funds, and will accept gifts of cash, securities, land and relevant in-kind donations. The Foundation gratefully accepts bequests and other Legacy gifts.

Audrey’s Place Foundation is a charitable organization created in 2010 by the Tepper family of Toronto Canada. Scholarships and other financial assistance are provided annually by Audrey’s Place Foundation to worthy applicants in the nursing field in Canada who are committed to serving the greater good. And with all overhead of Audrey’s Place Foundation funded privately, every dollar raised goes to support our mission.

The Oakville Community Foundation is a conduit between the passions of philanthropic families and the needs of the community. As a registered charity, the Foundation is one of the largest members of a national network of over 190 Canadian community foundations. We support individuals, families and corporations who come from all walks of life, economic backgrounds and charitable interests but they have one thing in common - a desire to make a difference today and leave a legacy tomorrow for Oakville.
