The organization is a local service club based in Norfolk County and is a member of Rotary International. The organization is a Public Foundation comprised of a diverse group of men and women volunteers who have joined together in active community service, both locally in Norfolk County, nationally within Canada and internationally around the world. The organization achieves its mission through disbursements to other Registered Charities whose activities achieve the relief of poverty, advancement of education or other purposes beneficial to a community.

To develop the under privileged poor vulnerable persons with the disabilities specially autistic, vulnerable women and distresses children in grass root level in Bangladesh. > To change the social and economical situation of underserved and unserved people in the country creating and sound and peaceful development environment. > To provide necessary moral and material support to the poor and needy and building their capacity to live with dignity of Allah. To reduce poverty among the community people under taking felt need based and right programs having direct participation of related stakeholders and rehabilitation of person with disabilities.

OUR PRINCIPLES RDT-Vicente Ferrer believes that people are the main actors in their development process and ensures their active involvement and leadership in the programs. The organization endorses a multi-sectoral approach with a view to enhancing people's overall progress. As a result, RDT addresses all major areas of development, including access to quality education, improved livelihoods, ecologyand the environment, equal opportunities for people with disabilities, women's development and empowerment, and access to healthcare. We organize, at a grassroots level, women, men, andpeople with disabilities into groups to enhance their strength, confidence, and ability to resolve their own issues and problems. An important RDT-Vicente Ferrer approach is the continuous sharing of knowledge, skills, and awareness about all aspects of life. Collaboration with the government and other NGOs to draw maximum benefits from development. To raise people's awareness and support their use of government schemes and resources. Though the organization has a special program forwomen's development, it believes that women's progress should be a factor in every area of work and life, including education, where emphasis is placed on young girls, and healthcare, for the overall well-being of women and girls. We believe in continuous training and orientation for staff members and people. We also have an HR department that regularly organizes internal and external training sessions for staff members of all levels and people on leadership, group building, problem solving, and gender-related matters, among others. To create an efficient human organization capable of acting regardless of where the need arises, even in emergencies. We believe that we must have a strong organization focused on community development, yet flexible and able to accommodate the changing needs of the people. RDT-Vicente Ferrer also stresses continuous dialogue with people and seeks to ensure its programs are useful and practical. An empathetic approach to helping individuals in severe distress due to chronic or acute illness, abandonment, or abuse of any kind.

CEMINA ( Communication, Education, Information and Adaptation) is a not- for- profit organization founded in 1990 to empower women and communities through the use of the radio. Over the years CEMINA has created 400 women's radio programs and has been awarded with various prizes. The radio model, created by CEMINA, is considered a social technology and has been disseminated not only in Brazil but in other countries as well. Since 2007, CEMINA has shifted its focus from radio to the capacity building for social start ups and education for adaptation to climate change. One of its main projects is Adapta Sertao ( www.adaptasertao.net) which aim is to develop a social technology that benefits the population of small underserved towns in the semi-arid region of Brazil. The project consists in articulating a group of social technologies that use scare resources such as water and arable land to guarantee the livelihoods of the local communities especially small farmers. The project has received very prestigious awards such as the 2008 SEED Award. It has also been recognized as a best practice by UN Habitat. CEMINA also supports a children- youth program at Favela Julio Otoni. The program offers a series of benefits for children with ages between 6 and 14 years old. The idea is to offer these children the new possibilities of seeing and actualizing the world. The program is done with volunteers.

We are supporting both local and international initiatives. Local: we support Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, which provides essential mentoring to young women in the region, the Bruce DeHart Bursary,to help college students in business programs. We also support other local initiatives, such as feeding the homeless in the downtown Eastside. International: We support Free the Children's school- and community- building projects, and are currently focusing on raising funds for the Secondary School for Girls in the Masaai Mara region. We also support World Vision and are involved in other international initiatives on a less regular basis.

The mission of the US Veterans Hall of Fame is to pay public tribute to the men and women of prior military service who exemplify great character and excellence. The mission is to also house within our archives the stories of an exampled few: chosen by the public, who represent the missions, the passion, the stories and the memories of the majority of our brave service members. These stories will assist in educating the world of our rich military history that has paid for our freedoms. We will conduct ourselves as professionals and treat our veterans legacies with care, God's love and compassion as we seek to honor them properly.

HESEG Foundation (HESEG) funds full academic scholarships and living expenses for former soldiers who served in the Israel Defence Forces (IDF). Many of these are Lone Soldiers who are young men and women from all over the world who come to Israel to volunteer in the IDF. These remarkable individuals leave behind families and friends, and are driven by their ideals, and a commitment to Israel’s security and future. The scholarships were established by the founders of HESEG as a way to recognize and acknowledge the meaningful contribution of former soldiers and former Lone Soldiers to Israel, while at the same time providing them with an opportunity, through education and career development, to start a life in Israel.

Cherish Others Organisation- Kenya was registered in 2004 as a local non-governmental organization dedicated to uplift the lives of the vulnerable members of the community that include the women, girl child, the youth and the orphans. Cherish Others exists to improve the livelihoods of the resource poor communities through information sharing, education and providing support and care while working with them towards reducing HIV/AIDS prevalence within their environment. The organization contributes to advocacy campaigns on issues affecting the girl child, such as education, girl child rights and adolescent pregnancies. It is also involved in mentoring young girls for professional development by conducting alternative rite of passage ceremonies.

The Foundation’s aim is to finance the education of talented young women and men in Zambia. The Foundation has a Canadian Board of Directors and a Zambian based selection committee. The Zambian committee consists of eminent academics and professionals whose task it is to identify suitable candidates for recommendation to the Board of Masomo in Canada. The scholarships are advertised in the national press and suitable candidates are identified on merit. Masomo’s initial focus is on courses with duration of two years or less. Zambia’s best colleges offer many courses for this period of time. The Foundation’s scholars are engaged in studies ranging from medicine and pharmacy, to engineering and agricultural science, principally at the Universities of Zambia and the Copperbelt. Most of these students would not have been able to attend university but for the support of Masomo donors.

The Canadian Hero Fund is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting Canadian military personnel and their families. The Canadian Hero Fund was founded by a group of students at the University of Toronto who were deeply impacted by the increasing number of Canadian casualties and the young families they left behind. As a non-political civilian charity, the Canadian Hero Fund raises money through community, grassroots efforts. To improve the quality of life of children, young people and women living in the slum through the provision of quality education, affordable housing, health care and socio economic empowerment Akili Girls Preparatory School strives to provide underprivileged girls in Kisumu County with affordable quality education that will help them to break the cycle of poverty. The project goal is to generate sufficient income through focussing on horticulture, poultry, dairy cows, and renewable energy systems so as to meet educational, nutritional and medical support needs of the girls we support. This project aims to support at least 200 orphans and vulnerable girls between 3 and 14 years by the year 2020. The primary target group are girls from the lowest income populations, particularly those who are affected by the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in Obunga slum and Obambo village in Kisumu County. We will enroll 5 fee paying students in every class to enable parents who are able to pay fees to participate in the education of needy girls. The strategy we have adopted to provide quality education to these girls is through the establishment of a boarding school known as Akili Girls Preparatory School which will provide holistic education that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of the girls while creating dignity through self-reliance
