The mission of Friends of Radnor Lake is to protect, preserve, and promote the natural integrity of the Radnor Lake State Natural Area through land acquisition, environmental information, and park support.

A WATERFRONT DESTINATION THAT CONNECTS DOWNTOWN MADISON TO LAKE MONONA, ENHANCES COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS, INCREASES PHYSICAL AND VISUAL ACCESS TO THE LAKE, IMPROVES LAKE MONONAS WATER QUALITY AND AQUATIC HABITAT, CELEBRATES FRANK LLOYD WRIGHTS ARCHITECTURAL LEGACY IN MADISON, AND RECOGNIZES LAKE MONONAS CULTURAL HISTORY FROM THE HO-CHUNK PEOPLE TO THE PRESENT DAY.

The Garden Club of Virginia exists to: celebrate the beauty of the land conserve the gifts of nature challenge future generations to build on this heritage. We value the conservation of natural resources, the restoration of historic landscapes, and ongoing environmental education for members and Virginia citizens.

From the early 1830s to 1998, thousands of First Nation, Inuit and Métis children were forced to attend residential schools in an attempt to assimilate them into the dominant culture. Those children suffered abuses of the mind, body, emotions, and spirit that can be almost unimaginable. Over 150,000 children, some as young as four years old, attended the government-funded and church-run residential schools. It is estimated that there are 80,000 residential school Survivors alive today. We develop innovative, unique, and effective educational programming on residential schools and the long-term effects they have on Survivors, their families, and their communities. Accessed by hundreds of thousands of Canadians, these resources include websites, travelling exhibitions, secondary school curriculum, and an oral history collection of Survivor testimony.

The Friends of Shelby is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, protection, enhancement and stewardship of Shelby Park and Shelby Bottoms. It works to protect the natural and historical integrity of the area by supporting appropriate recreational activities, maintaining and enhancing its features, promoting programs that inspire appreciation and conservation of Park and Bottoms, and advocating for a level playing field for the various user groups.

To preserve Laurelwood Arboretum as an oasis for the enjoyment of nature and to provide opportunities for environmental awareness through educational programs, community involvement and outreach activities.

Friends of Outdoor School is dedicated to preserving the Outdoor School (ODS) experience for all Oregon students regardless of a student's ability, experience, income or family background. We do this by raising funds, gathering volunteers, and building community partnerships on behalf of outdoor school.

We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 that strives to promote the responsible enjoyment of the Gold Butte National Monument through education, stewardship, advocacy, and preservation of natural and cultural resources.

In furtherance of its charitable and educational purposes, but not in limitation thereof, the Organization's mission shall be:• To expose the public to Bedrock Gardens in Lee, New Hampshire, an example of creative, revitalizing, and educational land-use in developing suburbia;• To create educational programs for adults, children, and families in traditional ornamental gardening, horticulture, ecology, art in the garden and land use;• To provide the local and surrounding communities a green space sanctuary, outdoor opportunities, educational activities and a venue for visual and performing arts in the developing commercial corridor between Lee and Epping NH;• To provide support to schools, horticulturists, landscape architects and designers, artists and organizations concerned about these issues as allowed by law;• To raise funds to further these activities.

Second Servings is dedicated to building a healthier community by providing access to nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste. As Houston's only perishable food rescue organization, we pick up unsold and unserved food from over 400 food businesses, and deliver it promptly and safely to 140 local nonprofits to help nourish about 200,000 struggling Houstonians annually.

For more than 40 years, Friends of the Earth has been the leader in aggressively confronting the root causes of climate change, in stopping wasteful government handouts to polluting industries, and in stemming damaging corporate exploitation that places profit above human and environmental wellbeing. Friends of the Earth promotes clean and sustainable energy, fair solutions to the climate crisis, responsible use of technology, and protection of the earth’s natural treasures.

The mission of Briar Bush is to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and protect nature by encouraging curiosity and scientific inquiry.
