The Foundation provides stable, sustainable support to charitable organizations on the Sunshine Coast. We create a way for individuals, families, corporations, businesses and groups to pool charitable giving into a single Community Capital Fund that will respond to the needs and concerns of the area’s residents from Port Mellon to Egmont.

Founded in 1987, Pacific Salmon Foundation is an independent, politically neutral organization dedicated to rebuilding healthy sustainable and naturally divers Pacific salmon stocks. We believe that action is more important than words; that collaboration and partnerships are more effective than finger pointing and blame.

Wildland Firefighter Foundation’s main focus is to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families. We honor and acknowledge past, present, and future members of the wildland firefighting community, and partner with private and interagency organizations to bring recognition to wildland firefighters.

The Fresh Outlook Foundation (FOF) envisions a future in which people of all ages and from all sectors communicate and collaborate to make our communities more socially, culturally, environmentally, and economically sustainable. This is possible only when people talk with one another about important community issues, challenges, and opportunities. To that end, the Fresh Outlook Foundation’s passion is “building sustainABLE communities through conversations that inspire positive change.” FOF creates opportunities for those conversations to unfold at events such as the Building SustainAble Communities conference, REEL CHANGE SustainAbility Film Fest, ECO-BLAST Kids’ Camp & Concert, Thompson-Okanagan Climate Action Exchange, Breakfast of Champions, and Women 4 SustainAbility.

Raw Earth Foundation mitigates environmental stress and protects wild life habitat through land conservation. We are an organization with the world in mind. The Rouge Valley Foundation is a charitable organization, which has worked for 25 years to protect the natural and cultural heritage of the Rouge Valley. To work closely with the community, the Foundation opened the doors of the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre (RVCC). The RVCC supports & complements various environmental groups that work out of the centre and in the Rouge Valley watershed. Currently the RVCC serves as the headquarters of the Citizen Scientists and 10,000 trees to name a couple. Our yearly fundraising events include Ride for the Rouge and Rouge Valley Eco Exploration. We also offer school programs and hikes to the general public. In 2009 we launched our green energy initiative to educate the community about alternative energy and we began implementing our own green energy solutions.

Founded in 1996, the Reef Check Foundation exists to help preserve the oceans and reefs which are critical to our survival, yet are being destroyed. With headquarters in Los Angeles and volunteer teams in more than 90 countries and territories, Reef Check works to protect tropical coral reefs and California rocky reefs through education, research and conservation.

The Saskatchewan Nurses Foundation (SNF) is a registered charity that provides bursaries to eligible Registered Nurses who are pursuing continuing nursing education at the baccalaureate, masters or doctoral level or in clinical nursing courses of at least 15 days in length. After graduation, SNF bursary recipients must work in the province for one year for every $1000.00 received.

The British Columbia Conservation Foundation (BCCF) was founded and incorporated under the Society Act of British Columbia in 1969, by the Directors of the BC Wildlife Federation, to contribute significantly to the perpetuation and expansion of fish and wildlife populations through the efficient implementation of projects in the field. We are a federally registered charity dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of British Columbia's ecosystems and species.

Burnaby Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the medical equipment needs of Burnaby Hospital. Burnaby Hospital is a 300 bed, community based, acute care hospital caring for over 230,000 people every year. Our Emergency department is one of the busiest in the Province of BC and treats over 45,000 adults and 12,000 children annually.

The purpose of the foundation shall be to preserve and encourage the preservation of historic buildings, objects and sites relating to the history of Hawai'i to promote an awareness of and respect for all that is historically significant and architecturally distinctive in our State; and through these efforts, to keep alive and intact for the enrichment of present and future generations the inherent beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and its unique historic role in the development of the Pacific Basin.
