The Olive Tree Foundation was founded in 2004 by civic leaders and philanthropists. The Foundation is a charitable organization formed to attract and manage permanent endowment funds and to distribute income from those funds back to the community. We provide grants to registered charitable organizations for projects that maintain or improve quality of life in the community. Our fields of interest include: - Social, Community and Health Services - Education and Library Services - Policy Institutes and Think Tanks - Arts, Culture and Heritage - Children, Youth, & Family - Seniors - Environment - Community Economic Development

APJ Canada's immediate goal is to serve children and their families in the poorest communities in Haiti by supporting programs focused on education, health and dignity, through the Academy for Peace and Justice, the first free secondary school in Port-au-Prince. APJ Canada is proud to follow a 100% policy - 100% of public donations go directly to our programs in Haiti. The mission of AAI is to build hope and empower communities afflicted by armed conflict and severe poverty. We believe that peace, security and respect for human dignity are inseparable. Our goal is to develop programs as sustainable models that can be replicated globally. Our people-to-people initiatives integrate health, education, arts and livelihood as a basis for mediation. By building Hope, we overcome the hatred propagated by terror organizations. The success of these cost-effective models shows that empowering impoverished and conflict-plagued communities strengthens international security, stability and peace.

Founded as a not-for-profit, non-government organization in 1957, we have a well-established reputation as a leader in safety education. We continually check our environment to identify gaps in safety promotion and seek to meet the need, either through individual effort or with the many health and safety-related organizations throughout Ottawa and Eastern Ontario that we cooperate with. To keep all those in CT's Mystic River Watershed safe and flourishing during this period of intensifying climate change, we will improve equity and community resilience by expanding citizen participation in decision making and stewardship; improve the quality of water and habitats and nourish ecological health; inform and coordinate efforts to reduce risks from climate change impacts; advocate for climate-smart development and healthy, thriving communities; and promote youth well-being and school involvement through stewardship, citizen science and civic engagement.

Hoja Nueva is a dynamic 501(C)(3) non-profit working in Madre de Dios, Peru. Our research center in the jungle serves as a local knowledge base led by novel, on-the-ground research, the majority of which involves conservation, education, permaculture, and sustainable community development. Hoja Nueva confronts deforestation in the Peruvian Amazon by conserving rainforest and building capacity within remote and indigenous communities; implementing rigorous scientific research in health and wildlife; and creating alternative income opportunities that protect indigenous culture and wildlife habitat

We're part of an organization that spans the world and provides an opportunity every two years to bring the various groups together in a friendly Contest of Seamanship. The youth involved in the program learn to row and sail a 38’ captain’s gig, building a team, making new friendships, a new understanding and trust that develops them in to ambassadors representing their country. Throughout the world, programs like the one in Canada offer opportunities for youth to continually learn to adapt and overcome each challenge they encounter along their course. Skills are developed through participants exploring their personal boundaries, both physically and mentally in a controlled and safe manner. Each year, we offer training opportunities to youth from across Canada in our programs and to develop new skills. The majority of these programs have been in Ontario although youth travel around the world to participate with other member organizations.

Friends of Hudson Parks is a 501(c)(3) organization independent from the City of Hudson which actively supports the use and enjoyment of the Hudson Parks through volunteerism, advocacy, promotion and fund raising. We are guided by our shared values: environmental conservation and restoration, education, community engagement, recreation, health and wellness — to serve, preserve and enhance the Hudson community through a vibrant park system. SAFECO's mission aims to improve the conditions in which women, adolescent girls, women with disabilities and indigenous women in our society live. Since its beginning, SAFECO has focused on empowering and educating girls and women through information and communication technologies.

Mission of Mercy Canada is a Christian organization which exists to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of the hurting children and adults of north east India by feeding, housing, educating and providing health and wellness care.
