Crime Stoppers is a community service program which helps solve and prevent crime in your neighbourhood by combining the efforts of the police, media and the public. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit charitable organization funded by tax exempt contributions from citizens, businesses and service groups. A board of directors comprised of involved citizens establish policy, raise funds, and oversee reward payments. It encourages people to call Crime Stoppers with information to solve crimes already committed, ones about to occur, and/or the wereabouts of wanted persons, missing persons, narcotics, or stolen property.
In 2005 our sister organization, Village Schools International, opened our first 3 schools, built 22 classrooms, received 13 missionary teachers from America, and enrolled 832 students. Today, we have twenty-six schools in villages in Tanzania which are providing an education to nearly 7300 students, and we are currently partnering with people in 188 villages, working together to try to build an additional 138 classrooms this year and to open at least two more of the six new schools under construction.

This charity primarily exists to help Canadians attend The Gow School in South Wales, N.Y. We have several scholarships dedicated to helping needy Canadian students attend Gow which is the oldest college prepatory boarding school for dyslexic students in North America. Since the founding of the school in 1926 hundreds of Canadians have been educated at Gow and we are dedicated to this continuing long into the future. The HSSM is a charitable, not-for-profit organization registered with the Canada Revenue Agency and governed by a Board of Governors made up of elected teachers, parents and interested community members. The Board sets policies and governs the general operations of the School. There is also a Parents’ Association, of which all parents of HSSM students are members, which organizes parent meetings, fund raising and other special events. The HSSM Faculty is comprised of professional musicians, all of whom are highly qualified and Suzuki-trained. All HSSM teachers are members of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. We strive to develop children’s natural love of music and to nurture musical talents for personal enjoyment in a rewarding and vibrant learning environment.
Friends of Lakeside Nature Center, Inc., (FOLNC) is the support group for Lakeside Nature Center (LNC) in Swope Park. Lakeside Nature Center provides educational and recreational activities focusing on environmental awareness and conservation of native Missouri plants and animals and their habitats. Conservation activities include environmental education, habitat restoration and urban waterway management. Wildlife rehabilitation is a key component of LNC's mission. Programs are designed to meet the social, cultural, and physical needs of our diverse and changing community for today and for the future. FOLNC has continued in this mission since 1983.
Growing Gardens is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of our community through sustainable urban agriculture. Over the last 20 years, we've brought gardening, nutrition education and produce donations to over 136,000 Boulder County residents.We offer a variety of programs to get people of all ages, backgrounds, income levels, and abilities involved in growing and cooking their own food. These educational opportunities are paired with seed, plant start, and produce donations, as well as gardening space, to impart greater food security and hunger relief in our community
