The Friends of the Public Garden, a parks advocacy organization founded in 1970, has a mission to preserve, protect and enhance Boston's first three public parks: the Boston Common, the Public Garden, and the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, in partnership with the City of Boston Parks Department.

Environmental Advocates of New York's mission is to protect our air, land, water, and wildlife and the health of all New Yorkers. Based in Albany, we monitor state government, evaluate proposed laws, and champion policies and practices that will ensure the responsible stewardship of our shared environment. We work to support and strengthen the efforts of New York's environmental community and to make our state a national leader.  

Friends of the River protects and restores California Rivers. We envision a climate resilient water future with healthy rivers, equal access to safe and affordable drinking water, and a thriving sustainable economy for all Californians.

Our mission is to secure, through advocacy and private sector support, the completion of Hudson River Park, which is already recognized as setting the standard, nationwide, of what a great waterfront park can be. We seek to ensure adequate public funding to build the Park as well as private sector funding to maintain and enhance it.  We collaborate with the Hudson River Park Trust, the City-State agency responsible for building and oeprating the Park to fulfill the obligations of the Hudson River Park Act. We also support programming and sponsor other community events in the Park.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.Open to all girls ages 5 to 17, Girl Scouts offers a time-tested, research-backed leadership development program that helps girls take the lead--in their own lives and in the world. Our regional council, Girl Scouts of Northern California (GSNorCal), is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA. We are one of the largest councils in the nation, serving more than 25,000 girls, including gender-expansive youth, and 21,000 adult members across 19 Northern California counties from Gilroy to the Oregon border. At GSNorCal, we are committed to providing a safe space for girls, where everyone is welcome, and where all girls and families belong.

We are a non profit group that whom's mission is to enhance the lives of pets and their owners. Our biggest goal is to have a dog park built in our city to allow for pets to have a place to train, play, and spend family time.

To protect and preserve the habitat, ecosystems, and recreational resources of Del Mar Mesa through habitat restoration and enhancement, recreational support, stewardship, research, and education. We support educational and recreational activities that foster an appreciation of the natural environment of Del Mar Mesa.
