Terraformation Org Foundation supports large-scale native reforestation by funding and enabling projects that restore degraded land into biodiverse forests to capture carbon, rebuild ecosystems, and support local stewardship. The nonprofit arm directs donations to operational grants and project finance for forestry sites while partnering with local forestry teams and using tools like seed banking, nurseries, and training to scale restoration.

The mission of Los Angeles Audubon is to promote the enjoyment and protection of birds and other wildlife through environmental education, conservation and habitat restoration. An important strategic goal is the expansion of our education programs targeting under-served youth and their communities and empowering a new generation of environmental leaders to take action through community restoration aimed at conserving natural resources and restoring native habitat.

The Horticultural Society of Middle Tennessee still maintains its founding principles: to act as a clearing house to coordinate the horticultural interests of the garden clubs, to collect and diffuse information on all topics relating to the culture and care of plants, to encourage the conservation of trees, native plants and birds, to promote widespread interest in the beautification and landscaping of public and private grounds, to foster civic improvements, and to stimulate cultural interests.

The Wisconsin Orchid Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation, cultivation, appreciation, improvement, and promotion of orchids and orchid growing. We are affiliated with the American Orchid Society and the Mid-America Orchid Congress. We have many members from the southeastern Wisconsin area. New members are always welcome!

The mission of Sycamore Land Trust is to preserve the beauty, health, and diversity of southern Indiana's natural landscapes through strategic land conservation and environmental education. Vision: Sycamore Land Trust envisions a future in which southern Indiana has diverse and abundant habitat for native plants and animals, as well as clean air and water, working lands that are productive and sustainable, and people who embrace the connection between a healthy environment and our quality of life.

A group of citizens came together in the summer of 2008, bound by a shared commitment to the restoration of one of the largest impacted estuaries in New England: the Herring River Salt Marsh. Friends of Herring River was launched formally at the State of the Wellfleet Harbor Conference on November 15, 2008 and is a tax exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. All contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law. The purpose of the Friends of Herring River is to promote education, research and public awareness of the Herring River estuary as one of critical environmental concern, to preserve the native environmental integrity of the river and estuary, to ensure habitat protection and retention of the native biological diversity and productivity of the river and estuary, to retain and enhance public access to the river and estuary, to preserve natural and historic sites, and to promote public awareness. Friends of Herring River is pursuing this mission by undertaking the following activities: Informing and educating the public on the progress and key issues in order to build community-wide support for the project. Implementing outreach activities to ensure timely and effective public involvement in the restoration project. Supporting restoration objectives and worthy scientific, environmental, historical, educational, and recreational programs by fundraising, volunteering, and other useful activities. Friends of Herring River are actively engaged in the planning for the implementation of the project, fundraising, public outreach, and education as well as conducting the herring run count each spring.

Adirondack Wildlife is a rehabilitation and education organization whose mission is to take in, rehabilitate, and return to the wild when possible. Our mission statement is made possible with the aid of local veterinarians and volunteers. In addition, we run educational programs and presentations, primarily working with non-releasable native species. We promote compassion, tolerance and understanding of wildlife, particularly with conservation, ecological principles, and sustainable management. Adirondack Wildlife, Inc. is a 501 C3 non-profit open to the public maintaining a mile-long, guided, interpretive trail and conducting interactive presentations. We have no Federal, State or Local Funding, and are completely funded by donations.

The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) is one of the largest Hellenic heritage groups in the world and is a major community service organization in North America. Included in the AHEPA Family is the women's group, Daughters of Penelope; the Sons of Pericles (the junior order of AHEPA); and the Maids of Athena (the junior order of the Daughters of Penelope). While founded in the United States in 1922, the AHEPA organization has branched out to include chapters throughout Canada, Greece, Cyprus, New Zealand and Australia.

Our mission at the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Foundation (ABWF) is to “support stewardship of the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness and to foster appreciation of wild lands”. This reflects the spirit and legal mandates of the 1964 Wilderness Act that requires that “wilderness areas be administered for the use and enjoyment of the American people in such manner as will leave them unimpaired for future use and enjoyment as wilderness, and so as to provide for the protection of these areas, the preservation of their wilderness character, and for the gathering and dissemination of information regarding their use and enjoyment as wilderness….” The Wilderness Act defines “wilderness” as those lands that are “affected primarily by the forces of nature, with the imprint of man’s work substantially unnoticeable.”

BCF fosters cooperation and goodwill between Bhutan and Canada in several ways: Our main program is a teacher program, in which we work with the Ministry of Education in Bhutan to send qualified teachers to teach in public schools in some of the most rural parts of the country. Since January 2010, BCF has sent a total of 69 teachers to 39 different communities across Bhutan. These teachers have directly impacted the lives of over 10,800 Bhutanese students. We also offer scholarships for Bhutanese youth to complete secondary education in Canada. Finally, as one of the only North American organizations with a permanent presence in Bhutan, we serve as a cultural liaison for many visitors to the country.

The Scout House organization began in 1938 and developed into a championship competitive Corps in North American. It disbanded in 1967 and reformed in 1998. In 2012 the Scout House Cadet Drum & Bugle Corps formed with a 10 person drum line. It has now added a 20 person horn line and is executing a five year plan to reach a 90 person competitive Corps. Cadet ages range from 10 to 18 and up to 83 in the Scout House Band with younger members continually joining. (17 new band members in 2014). No member receives any compensation for their services. The Band is managed by an elected Board Of Directors under a Province of Ontario Corporation Charter. It is a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency 88877 4791 RR0001. Funds are derived solely from corporate and personal donations, performance fees and fundraising events. Financial challenges include instrument replacement, uniform replacement, transportation equipment and performance regalia.

Founded in 1995, LFT is the only Toronto school to combine the intellectually stimulating education of the French curriculum from France with the inclusive Canadian perspective and values. From PK through grade 12, our students are fully immersed in the best aspects of our two complimentary cultures. We have a co-ed enrolment of over 450 students, and a truly international student body, with nearly half of our students speaking French at home. Many of our students also speak an additional language. The intimate size of the school has allowed us to create a close-knit, integrated and respectful non-denominational community within our school. Most of our teachers, and the school’s headmaster, hail from France’s education system and many have taught internationally producing an enriched and expansive educational environment.
