The Get Growing Foundation is a 501c3 creating gardens, educational programming and year-round outreach to the public, with a particular focus on today's youth. In collaboration with the Chicago Flower & Garden Show®, GGF raises awareness and funding for hands-on programs specifically designed to cultivate understanding and provide practical advice in the areas of horticulture, gardening and conservation. The Get Growing Foundation is the educational programming and outreach partner of the Chicago Flower & Garden Show® and leads the way in creating gardens, workshops, seminars and year-round programming that not only educates, but inspires and motivates the next generation of gardeners. The Unlocking Potential (UP) Foundation raises funds for Catholic Family Service (CFS) to help people deal with debilitating issues like poverty, addictions, abuse, mental health and other concerns that stand in the way of living life to its full potential. UP was created in 2009 as a distinct foundation dedicated to “unlocking the potential” of the Calgary community to take part in raising money for innovative, high-impact programs aimed at “unlocking the potential” of vulnerable people to thrive. The Montgomery Parks Foundation champions Montgomery County Parks cultivating financial support and public engagement of county residents and businesses as members, donors, sponsors and advocates. The Foundation supports creating, developing and promoting the best conditions for education of students at Malvern Collegiate Institute, including support for staff through teaching research, education tools and professional development. Donations to the MRBS are used to fund the bi-annual newsletter, the website, special events, office and archives expenses, and the annual MRBS award to a male and female student who have contributed to fostering the Malvern spirit.
The Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation (MCHF) is a nonproft 501(c)3 organization founded in 1997 to advance conservation and appreciation of Missouri's natural resources, including fish, forest, and wildlife. Our work centers around ensuring our conservation heritage and protecting our most precious natural resources. We are the support foundation for the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and serve as a key facilitator for a broad variety of conservation initiatives. To support the mission and priorities of MDC at the state, national and international level, we help connect the dots between MDC and other entities by building partnerships, fundraising and providing administrative services to advance effective conservation efforts. We invest in many things including: - Clean water - Conservation education - Youth, veteran and disabled hunting, fishing, archery and outdoor skills programs - Migratory bird programs - Pollinators - Wildlife and grassland habitat protection - Stewarding land in perpetuity
The Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada (PFC) is a nationally registered charitable organization that improves the quality of life of Canadians by sponsoring research which advances the treatment techniques, knowledge and skills of Canada's 13,000 physiotherapists. We take a leadership role in the funding of, and fundraising for, physiotherapy research. We develop partnerships with physiotherapy stakeholder including corporations, clinics and individual physiotherapists to make certain that all research of merit is funded.
The following are among the many important activities supported by the Foundation: • Promoting public awareness of its mission, capabilities and accomplishments. • Organizing and supporting lectures, curriculum development, symposia and other educational initiatives in the area of defence and security studies. • Supporting and funding research and education in the area of national and international defence and security studies. • Establishing and maintaining a Canadian Forces College Museum. • Establishing and supporting an active alumni affairs programme.
The mission of the Sierra State Parks Foundation (SSPF) is to provide critically needed financial support and advocacy to the Lake Tahoe-Donner State Parks for education, interpretation, restoration and preservation consistent with the mission of California State Parks. We fund projects and educational programs that connect park visitors with our rich natural resources and cultural heritage. Because of this work and advocacy our parks will continue to be places of education and inspiration for generations to come.
The Southern California Mountains Foundation is a non-profit that is passionate about our mission and community.
